Best Atlanta hair salon!!!! 11/15/2007

I had Allison cut and color my hair the other day and she did a tremendous job!!! Best haircut and color of my life! Alison is very creative and talented. I didn't even need to explain what I wanted, she just knew and really transformed my hair. The salon is immaculate and everyone was so friendly. It had a very relaxing atomspheredespite most of the staff bieng new to BBell and coming from other salons. My hair has never been shiner and full of texture and style. The best part about my cut with Allison was that I can (nearly) style my hair on my own, just like she did. You also have ot appreciate any salon that uses one of the BEST hair products around. I have heard from several people that a salon has a lenghty interviewing process in order to sell their products. I highly reccomend this salon. Pros: good location, friendly, nice mix of people Cons: a little pricey, but worth it more

I followed Allison from another prominent Buckhead Salon. After my first cut and color, I was hooked for life. She is truly an artist with hair. I have red hair which is very hard for most stylists to get right. Allison makes me look like a model every time I get my hair done. She is the best! Pros: Master stylists more

Kayce Smith-GREAT stylist 11/13/2007

I don't usually write reviews and such, but after my experience @ BBell the other day, I felt I needed to let all know. I went to Kayce not having a style or idea for one but that didn't matter. Kayce was so friendly and patient to work w/. I left there feeling and looking great! I will always be @ ease when going to see Kayce. Excellent Hairdresser - Allison McTigue 11/7/2007

I moved to Atlanta in ?96 from Washington D.C. where I left behind my hairdresser who had been doing my hair for over 10 years. Needless to say, I had some hard time trying to find a new hairdresser in Atlanta. I have gone to over a dozen hairdressers in Atlanta since then and to very nice and high-class beauty salons , some better than others, but whenever I found a hairdresser that I liked, he or she did not stick around. I am a very difficult and lazy person when it comes to hair (I like the perfect cut?that is, each hair in its place, and I should be able to wash and go. I don?t have the time to spend drying and styling.) I went to Allison for the first time about two years ago, and since then, I a m happy to say that I have had a few different looks. How many times have you gone to a beauty salon, asked for a certain cut, and came out with something completely different? Well, I can assure you that Allison pays attention to you very carefully and she has a lot of patience. I am foreign-born and sometimes my communications skills are not the best, but when Allison does my hair, she takes the time to listen to what is that I would like to have done next and we work together. I followed Allison McTigue to B Bell Salon and I will follow her again, but I know she is not going anywhere because she is very stable. I give Allison A+. Pros: Service, Parking more

Great men's haircut 11/2/2007

Allison at B.Bell is great. She makes you feel right at home, great conversation, and most importantly is great at cutting my hair (many a compliment). I told her what style I was looking for and she nailed it. She also does online scheduling which helps if you have a busy schedule. more

Kayce is the best 10/29/2007

I have been going to see Kayce for years now and wouldnt recommend anyone else. She is the only person who i trust with my hair. She has always been able to do something that i like. All i have to do is have a little idea and she will work with me. Not to mention, i have gone to her carious times in emergency and in a rush and she has always been able to fit me in. She is great, friendly, and offers great service. I love her to death and i highly recommend her. Pros: Alwats able to fit me in and does an awesome job on color and hair(rare to come by) Cons: the salon is so far from where i live, but im willing to drive the distance more

Fabulous haircut & highlights! 10/29/2007

I went to Allison McTigue a couple of days ago and received a FABULOUS haircut with highlights. I was looking to update my long hair but without doing anything too drastic. She gave me highlights and lowlights to make the color completely natural. The color was done specifically to highlight the haircut giving it more depth and polish. The end product was exactly what I was looking for. Its always scary to go to someone for the first time, but I love my hair and would recommend her to anyone and everyone. A total plus is also being able to book appointments online ! Pros: everything Cons: nothing more

Fantastic staff, superb salon! 10/27/2007

A friend of mine referred me to Allison McTigue while she was working at a different salon. When she moved to B.Bell Salon, I followed her over without any hesitation. Allison has been the best thing that has ever happened to me in terms of having a great hair cut and style. She is warm, friendly, and amazing at what she does. I receive so many compliments every time I come back from a visit with her. I like Allison because she takes the time to make sure that I walk out of the salon happy with my new cut, as well as makes sure that I have a style that I can actually replicate the next day and every day thereafter on my own without a whole lot of fuss or frustration. She has also given me some of the most amazing subtle highlights, which continue to look good even as they eventually begin to grow out. I am now in the process of trying to grow my hair out long again and I feel confident that she will keep me looking great through the whole process.\r \r In addition, all members of the B.Bell Salon staff are simply remarkable! Everyone there is so courteous and will attend to your every need. The atmosphere is very welcoming and I guarantee you won't get a better more fantastic shampoo experience anywhere else! :-) I would recommend B.Bell Salon and Allison McTigue to anyone looking for a top-notch salon and pampering experience. Allison McTigue is a hair goddess! 10/25/2007

I'm really picky about who I let cut my hair, and I've been to several ""top"" stylists in Atlanta. Allison is by far the best! She helped me grow out my hair to the longest it's been in many years, and the process was virtually painless. And thanks to her I discovered the blonde within. If you've got a night on the town planned, no one is better when it comes to producing fabulous go-out hair! And she taught me how to wield a hairdryer so I can almost imitate her artwork on my own (but not quite -- she has a special touch). She's also great at giving overall style advice -- she stays on top of the trends but has an eye for knowing what's right for each of her clients. A great hair cut is the next best thing to therapy, so call ""Dr. Allison"" if you need to feel and look better! She will take excellent care of you! more

Great beauty tips 10/24/2007

I appreciated that I could go into the salon unaware of what to do with my hair, but came out pleased with the result. Many hair stylists are afraid to tell you what would look good for your face shape, etc. I felt I received an honest answer when asked. My hair took on a whole other look than I have ever had, but it was a great change. Allyson knows how to make you look your best. more

I have long thick wavy hair with a weird hairline and have always struggled to find a stylist that understood my hair. I've tried many stylists in south florida and in Tallahassee. When I moved to Atlanta a co-worker recommended Allison to me and from the first haircut I was hooked! She thinned my hair out a little so it wasn't so heavy and wouldn't take as long to dry. She finally gave me the sweeping bangs I've been trying to get for a few years! My hair cut is now stylish but easy to do at home everyday; before my haircut was just plane jane straight across. If I ever move away from Atlanta I'll be flying back to see Allison when ever I need a hair cut because you can't improve upon perfection! Aside from perfect cuts, she's great with highlighting. Best Stylist in Atlanta- Allison McTigue 10/23/2007

Allison McTigue has been my stylist for about two years now. When I began seeing her, another stylist had butchered my hair. She gave me a great consultation and helped me figure out a hair cut / color that was perfect for me. It's nice to have a stylist who will honestly tell what will and will not work for you. The fact that her work has been featured in several Atlanta publications was an even bigger factor for me in selecting her as my stylist. The icing on the cake is when she did my hair for a formal and I wanted to wear it up and she said ""No, you're wearing it down"".... It came out PERFECT!!! Allison pays great attention to detail and gives AMAZING advice to keep me looking my best all the time. If you are searching for a new stylist I?d highly recommend Allison. ALLISON IS THE BEST! Great salon, great stylist 10/17/2007

After seeing the same stylist for over 5 years at another high end and well known salon in Atlanta, it was really time for a change. I searched City Search, and after reading about lots of different salons and stylists, I read the review about B Bell and Kaycee Smith. I am pretty picky about my hair, which is the reason I went to the same person for so long i guess. Kaycee had a lot of good reviews, so I decided to try her out, and I also read good reviews about the salon itself, which is really pretty and I felt very comfortable there, like I had been going there for years. Anyway, I set an appointment with Kaycee (so did my husband) and was thrilled with her and the cut she gave me. I showed her some photos of what my hair looked like in the past; although that was nice for her to see, it seems like Kaycee is the type of person that will cut your hair the way she thinks it will look best. Just trust her. She cut my hair at least 3 inches giving me a much shorter look. At first I thought I liked it, but it was new and different. I needed time to get used to it. The next day, I was so happy when I looked in the mirror. It was just what I needed. She did an amazing job, and I have recieved so many compliments. I wish I knew her a long time ago, and will definately see her again. My husband was equally happy with his cut. more

DEFINATELY recommend B.Bell Salon!! 10/5/2007

I had not cut my hair in a looong time because every time I left a salon, I found myself unsatisfied and wanting to have my hair back!! My friend recommended me to go see Kayce Smith at B.Bell Salon, and I have to say I was VERY pleased with the results! She asked me exactly what I wanted, and what I did not want, to make sure that we were on the same page. My friend has been going to her for a couple of years now, and now I understand why! You get a head massage during your wash, (which was amazing!) and the salon was very nicely decorated. You can tell that this salon puts a lot of time and heart into where they work and what they do. Very friendly atmosphere and very knowledgeable staff that knows their stuff about hair and which products work best for you. Kayce Smith comes HIGHLY recommended by me!! WOW !!! Allison McTigue at b. bell salon is the hairstylist that I have been looking for. She knows what she is doing. I have not been happy with my hair for such a long time.
