The company that we use for semi-annual maintenance for our AC and heating system referred us to Allgood Electric. We did not have the proper wiring for our AC and needed more wiring to support the system. The service that Allgood performed was sufficient and the quality of work was good, but the price was higher than what we expected. The gentleman who came out gave us an estimate that we felt was high and he called his office to see if he could get the estimate reduced. This was not possible and we did not have time to get other estimates, so we decided to have him do the work. He did what he was expected to do, what was needed, and he did a good job. more

I called Allgood at 0630 in the morning. An electrician showed up by 0700. I was having some electrical problems that kept tripping my circuit breakers. The electrician that showed up was very professional and courteous, he diagnosed the problem immediately and fixed it. I would definitely recommend Allgod to my friends and neighbors. This was our first time using Allgood Electric. We were very pleased with both the bid and the work they performed. They were extremely prompt and courteous, and they did excellent work. We had them install a breaker so that we could have the old heating and air conditioning unit replaced. And, they installed a new outlet within 25 feet of the compressor to meet code. Allgood Electric was referred to me and rewired my kitchen for the stove and microwave. They removed one wire and fixed a plug for my stove and microwave and also put a new electrical box on the back of the house-- we combined two or three boxes into one. I'd want to tell a potential customer about the work they did for me. more

I needed some motion detector lights to be put outside my home. Allgood Electric came and did a free estimate. They gave advice as far as what was best and what was typical. I always ask what other people typically do if I am not experienced with something. And, they were open and honest, which I appreciated. The installed two motion lights in twp areas outside the house, and they swapped out two fixtures inside. Throughout all of it, they were professional and friendly, and they were reasonably priced. I have used Allgood Electric 3 times, and they have done a great job. I called them the first time because we had trouble with breakers going out. We had 3 different boxes and could not figure out the cause. So Allgood Electric came out and they brainstormed with us. They discussed what they thought might the problem and made their recommendations, but they did not push us, so we decided to wait and see if we would have another occurrence, and we did. So, we called them back and they replaced the breaker. They also replaced a fan. They gave us a lot of options. The second time they came out was the trickiest because I work with an electric kiln for pottery and kilns are not like other electrical devises. They pull more amperage than it says on the plates. The electrician who came out did not know much about kilns, but he was willing to listen to me and learn how about them before he got started. more

I was looking on Angie's List, and I believe that is where I first came up with Allgood Electric. I called and talked to the owner, and he had one of his electricians come out. I told him what I wanted, and the electrician said he would get back to me. He got back to me that same day. They are very prompt in making contact with the customer. I told him what I wanted and needed, and he did it all very quickly. I had to have new plugs for my water softener and purifier that I was getting installed. I needed an outlet with four plugs. I also asked him to put another outlet in the wall for a refrigerator in the garage. He was able to do it at the same time, so I was really happy with that. I needed it done that day because the water softener people were scheduled to install. Allgood Electric was able to do it all in one day, which is almost unheard of. It was my first time using them, but if I have electrical needs again, I will call them. I have their information saved on my computer. They are a first class outfit. more

Everyone with Allgood Electric is extremely helpful, very honest, down to earth, and they don't gouge you on pricing. We started using Troy about 6 months after he opened his own business, so that was at least 6 years ago. This last time we used them the idea we had for a light fixture in our remodeled bathroom wasn't going to work. The gentleman Troy sent out came up with 3 other fantastic ideas we never would have thought of. We chose one, and it worked out great. Because Allgood Electric did it instead of out contractor it saved us a large amount of money. He really took the time to figure it out for us. It was great. They are easy to contact, they get back to you quickly, and they don't brush you off. No job has been too small or too large yet, and we have handed them both. When we first started using Troy, he helped me with a problem over the phone. He didn't even have to come out, he told me the right way to fix it. I used Allgood Electric to replace an electrical panel in my house and add some dedicated services for computers for my home office. They were very friendly, and got in and got out. I spoke with Troy over the phone to book the job, and two service people came out and took about 3 hours. I will absolutely use them again. In fact, I've already used Allgood for a rental house. My experience with Allgood Electric has been good. I have used them probably 4 or 5 times over the past 2 years. They rewired most of my house and they did good work. It was a big job and I relied on Troy's recommendations. Nobody is perfect, and there is always room for improvement, but Troy will remain my electrician. I like his service and he does a good job. One of the things I like about Troy is that you can text him. That makes it much easier to get in touch. He will text you back right away because it is faster for him, so you do not have to play phone-tag. I have since referred Allgood Electric to friends. They opted to go elsewhere for a lower rate, but it is not always about price, it is about quality. I am very happy with AllGood Electric. more

I am a contractor so I have been using Allgood Electric as a subcontractor, and I like what they done so well that I have no problem referring to them to both contractors as well as homeowners. We did a kitchen remodel and Troy came out, looked at it, told us which upgrades were needed, and got to work. He rewired the whole kitchen for us and provided all of the fixtures and under cabinet lighting. Troy is really easy to work with. Troy helped us pick out lights for our new deck. His suggestions were very helpful since neither of us had done a project of this size before. All I had to do was show him a picture or describe what I wanted and he referred me to resources in the area where I could view the items. Troy would clarify each time when he came back for the different stages of the decking, making sure which lights with which switches. He listened to our wants and needs and offered his suggestions as well (which both my husband & I appreciated) more
