Outstanding Vet!!! 12/17/2007

All of the Vets at BVAH are outstanding - this happens to be my personal vet for Enzo and Dante the 2 Italian Greyhounds. Of course one expects a level of expertise and professionalism, which Dr. Allen exhibits in abundance. However, what sets him apart is the genuine interest and willingness to go the extra mile to deliver the best in care and treatment for my ""kids"". Fairly or not, I view these pets as my children and only want the best for them, even if it means sacrificing in other areas of my life. Dr. Allen understands this and delivers, treating them as I would had I a vet license. VERY HIGHLY recommended. Pros: Great everything Cons: Wish they had extended manned emergency hours as they used to. more

Untimely death of pet 9/19/2007

My regular vet referred me to Dr. Ray Rudd at the Braelinn Village Animal Hospital for more extensive testing on my dog to diagnose his illness. At first, I was impressed by his attitude and thoroughness in his attempts to treat my dog. When my dog?s health continued to decline, he performed exploratory surgery on him and the lab results confirmed Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Dr. Rudd would not accept these results and continued to insist my dog had liver cancer?even had the biopsy cut two times. A feeding tube was inserted to assist my dog in getting the nutrition and medicine he needed to treat the IBD. The tube began leaking and on four occasions this was brought to the attention of Dr. Rudd and his staff and they would only say they didn?t know why it was leaking. The tube finally came completely out of my dog?s stomach and he developed peritonitis. I believe my dog passed away untimely and needlessly from this deadly disease because of the mismanagement of the feeding tube. Dr. Rudd even insisted on a third liver biopsy when my dog was fighting for his life. Again, no liver cancer. If you love and care for your pets, please do not take them to Dr. Rudd at his facility. more

Very personalized service from a caring team 11/5/2006

The team at Braelinn Village Animal Hospital has taken wonderful care of my pooch for years. Dr Jeff Allen is a freindly, wonderfully knowedgeable vet, and he is always willing to offer appropriate treatment options that are suitable for the situation. (I never feel like they are trying to add-on unnecessary services just to gain revenue.) The team always remembers my dog by name when we walk in the door, and she seems happy when she arrives and when she leaves. They obviously love their work -- it clearly shows. It's worth the drive to PTC! Pros: Clean, modern facilities. Smart, caring staff. Reasonable fees. Cons: PTC is a long drive from my home -- but worth it. more

Best vet care in or around Atlanta. 8/13/2006

Great personalized care for my dog and cat. Very up-to-date proceedures and equipment. I live in Atlanta and drive to Peachtree City because I feel that this clinic is simply the best combination of service and expertise for my pets. I would highly recommend. Pros: Knowledgeable and friendly Cons: Not conveniently located, but worth the drive more
