All Star Rental

I had a wonderful experience with this company! We were planning my daughter's birthday party very last minute, and I called All Star Rentals just to get some information on bouncy houses and cotton candy makers. They were extremely helpful and answered all of my detailed questions with the upmost patience. They promptly emailed me a price quote, and after some shoping around, I found them to be the best deal. I set up my order that very same day! more

First I would like to note that All Star Rentals made my Backyard BBQ amazing this year! I have been renting from them for the past 3 years and they have been wonderful! Their delivery guys are always quick, and very kind. They are awesome with the children, and very social with the parents and adults! They have done a fantastic job every year for us so we try and rent from them a couple times a year for our backyard partys! Also, might i add, the girls at the front desk do a fantastic job of meeting our needs and are very understanding when it comes to adjustments on our order, they make sure we have exactly what we want and do whatever possible to make that happen! If you are looking for a fun, laid back, dedicated rental company i strongly recommend rent from All Star Rentals! They have made our events very memorable these past few years! more

After a long engagement I finally decided to start planning our wedding. We were thinking of having a tent and all the ""trimmings"" in our yard. I decided to get some feelers out there by sending some email inquiries. The only one who answered me back (almost immediately) was All Star. And the response I got was personal--one to one. Heather got me pointed in the right direction. She asked me questions and helped me get things going. Very patient! Ultimately we did not do the tent thing in our yard. However, we were sure to rent whatever we needed from All Star. For their professional yet personal service they deserved our business! (We even invited them to our wedding!) more

I am increasing my rating based on the response by the owner; to clarify that all of the staff was courteous and helpful, with the exception of the owner during checkout; And the fact I should have contacted the business when the machine I rented started acting up. I rented a trenching machine. Over the past decade I had rented the exact same model without any problems from Home Depot, but thought I would try this close location and establish a relationship with a locally owned business. I rented the machine for 4 hours on a Sunday, the last 4 hours they were open. Retrospectively a mistake. I had about an hour of work. About a third of the way into the project the machine started intermittently and randomly shutting off. The motor restarted most of the time with 1-4 pulls. This wasn't user error, the machine was acting up. One hour turned into three in 90 degree heat. I pressed on to finish the job, which had to be done that day. I returned the machine on time prior to the close of business. I could have called All Star to come and investigate, but every restart got me closer to the end of the project. I didn't want the machine picked up, only to go through another rental on another day, or have to return the unit on a workday. On return to All Star I respectfully asked the owner for a discount on the rental or for a discount on my next rental based on all the trouble I had with the machine. I did not ask for a free rental. With instant attitude, I was asked ""why would I do that?"" ""You had the machine for the time allotted didn't you? You finished your project didn't you?"" Right questions, poor delivery. Customer relations fell apart at this point, to say the least. I asked him if he thought I was lying, or if customer satisfaction and return business meant anything to him. I was immediately informed that ""this conversation is over, leave now, get out of my business"" and was escorted to my car repeated told to ""get out."" It seemed well rehearsed, an I doubt I'm the first guy to object to the outcome on an interaction with him. Any other staff could have handled it better. So if you don't mind being treated like a piece of meat with a credit card, then go ahead and rent from this guy. I'm done. What a mistake and what a shame as it started out really well. Since my experience I started asking neighbors and coworkers if then had any knowledge of this renter. I have found similar problems in service and satisfaction. This is not ""made up"". Ask around, search the web. If location is key, know the policy and procedure before you sign! You be the judge, but I'm done. more

I have mixed feelings about this company. When I called to set everything up for our boucy house and popcorn machine I spoke to a new employee and she had to keep asking questions to someone in the background. This was just fustrating, but I was understanding. Everyone has to learn some how. more

I've had the pleasure of working with All Star a lot over the last few years for our school functions and they've always been amazing. So it was no surpise that I would use them on our special day... more

I am a little disappointed that I couldn't give less than one star..... We rented a bouncy castle from All Star Rental for the kids to play in at our annual pig roast festivities. when we inflated the castle it seemed fine but as soon as the kids began to use it, the collapse began. What is worse than not having a bouncy castle when you have 30+ kids at your house....? The answer...having one and then having to tell them that they can't play in it.... We had to end the adventure due to safety concerns from the rapidly collapsing structure. At the time it was past 5 pm on Saturday and in the midst of the party with 80 plus people attending. We returned the obviously torn device the next day and an employee opennly remarked to another ""I told you that one was torn"". We gave them every opportunity to make some sort of concession in order to keep our business in the future even though they obviously sent us a product that they knew was not functional. They declined to make any concession and told us that ""it is not our policy to return any money to customers"". more

We hired All Star to do our wedding tents and tables. We already pretty much knew how we wanted things to look, but the person ""helping"" us with our order couldn't figure it out so we had to drive in to sit down with her to explain it in person. Ok, not the end of the world. Then a couple weeks before our wedding they called us to tell us that they lost our order paperwork so we had to walk though EVERYTHING again. What a pain! The day came and things got set up incorrectly, buffet tables weren't in the right spot, head table messed up, etc. They left the generator in the middle of the park after we told them not to and that we'd come to pick it up if they were leaving before we got there. (If it got stolen we would have had to pay for it) After all of that, they charged me for ""messing up some table clothes"" and wouldn't provide any evidence of the damages. They just charged my credit card without approval. The tent looked good, albeit not set up correctly, but they are far from someone I'd recommend. more
