Editorial review from Citysearch 9/19/2013

Terrible customer service! I bought a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee in July '13 and immediately had troubles (electrical failures and transmission sticking issues - both safety concerns!). All-star management was rude, unprofessional and unwilling to help. Two months later I am making payments on a car I do not have (dealership could not fix car). Had to hire an attorney because dealership/Chrysler does not stand behind their products. Save yourself time and money and do not buy from All Star! more

The best Jeep dealer in St. Louis! 3/14/2011

When I say the best dealer in St. Louis, I don't use that term lightly. My wife and I were treated extremely well. Our salesman was able to locate the exact car we wanted and we saved several thousand dollars versus any other dealer. There was no high pressure, only a helpful attitude. We even got a better interest rate because the business manager spent the extra time to save us a few dollars. I will go back to AllStar again for my next car too. They were pros at customer service! more

Only dealership I will do business with 2/14/2011

All Star renewed my faith in car dealerships. We have bought a jeep from them and we send both of our cars there to get serviced. What impresses me the most about them is their honesty. They don't push extra's on you that don't need to be done.\r I always used to be afraid to take a car to the dealership to be serviced because of fear of price. At All Star, I have no hesitation to drop off my car, because I know they will be more than fair, and above all honest in their assessment.\r If you are in the market for a car or getting your car repaired, they would be the first place I would recomend. more

The first place I go to buy or get my car serviced 2/13/2011

I used to hate taking my car to a dealership for anything because I was always afraid of what my bill was going to be when they were finished. \r The people at All Star changed my view of that completely. Everyone there was extremely helpful and they didn't try to push on me extra ""things"" that I felt didn't need to be done. They were extremely honest and more than fair.\r The time came for my wife and I to buy a car, and we bought a new Grand Cherokee. I shopped it around and they gave us the best deal by fair of any of the dealers in the area.\r I would highly recomend going to them for any auto needs. more

Don't buy a used car from them!!! 4/7/2010

We bought a 01 PT cruiser from them it had 70k miles, we had it for about two weeks and the check engine light comes on so we take it in before the 30 day warrantee was up. The service dept told us they tighten some tubes and replaced the gas cap because it was throwing up emissions codes (it had passed emissions test before we bought it). They charged us $100 (after their 30 day BS warrantee) to do that to it and also told us they wanted to clean the fuel system for $300. We told them no we didn?t have the money for that, we still needed to pay sales tax on the stupid thing. So we left pissed b/c why wouldn?t they do the general maintenance on a used car before they sell it too someone. Just the way he talked to us like oh it?s Only $300 even though you just bought the car from us, it was rude. So we drive it for another two weeks and last weekend it decided to break down and this time it was the clutch. So were thinking okay, THIS is why we bought the extended warrantee! No, it more

So we drive it for another two weeks and last weekend it decided to break down and this time it was the clutch. So were thinking okay, THIS is why we bought the extended warranty! No, it turns out that the extended warranty doesn’t cover the clutch or clutch parts. WTF, why would they sell us a manual transmission and THAT part is the ONLY part that isn’t covered on the extended warranty!!! So now we’ve had this car for about 40 days and it needs work AGAIN! And we haven’t even gotten the chance to get it registered yet. So the manager kinda blew off my fiancée on the phone and told him that IF we have the car towed to them then they will give us 50% off labor and 25% off parts. Wouldn’t be a big big deal but the car is broke down in south city and we can’t afford repairs AND tow AND registration. Don’t buy from them, their just out to get money however they can. Pros: Nice sales guy Cons: the car is a lemon in less that 40 days more

Damage and Threat Due to Poor Service 7/1/2008

I have my truck in for transmission concerns. It was returned with fender damage. After driving about 900 miles and experiencing different transmission problems I took it back to the dealer. They found that had forgot to put transmission fluid back in. It was 4.5 quarts low. They refuse to do anything about the body damage or the transmission damage. This is the short version. The long version includes several lies and a threat by the owner. \r \r Damon more
