I don't want my animals to go anywhere else 6/20/2012

When my gecko (my first pet ever) got sick, I went to All Creatures since every other vet clinics in my area was clueless about exotics. In retrospect, I must have drove them nuts how often I rushed my gecko there to try to figure out how to make him all better as its condition got worse. While in the end I decided to euthanize my poor gecko to stop the suffering, I never once felt I was judged unfairly by any of the staff about my final decision. The recipient in fact told me how great it was to see an owner put so much effort for an animal most people consider a throw away pet and there should be more owners like me out there.\r \r My two current geckos still get taken care of by them and I'm happy to say they are all the textbook definition of healthy. more

GREAT PLACE FOR VET CARE!! 3/16/2012

We are new to the area and had an appointment this morning. Everyone, receptionists, nurses and doctors were wonderful. We didn t have to wait and we felt like family the way we were greeted walking into the hospital. Sally, our 5 year old pitbull has had bad allergies for years. The nurses and doctor explained all the possibilities that could cause her allergies. They were so informative and patient with us. They gave us estimates for every possibility to diagnose and treat her allergies. We have only in the past been given pills and told they will treat the allergies. WOW eye opening experience! We have to come back for some testing but we truly feel we have made a great choice coming to All Creatures. Thank you so much! Pros: null Cons: null more

Great Vets 2/7/2012

This is a wonderful place and hum...we board our bird there all the time. They use hospital cages set up very nicely and we were shown the cages so I don't know why the reviewer below wasn't. Maybe they were busy in the area and couldn't at that time. We have gone here for the past 7 years with all of our pets and have never had a bad experience. The staff is wonderful and takes the time to explain everything and answer our questions. They have always been compassionate and caring. Some people I guess are just looking for some reason to put a business down and write on these sites. Well my family always looks at the positive and All Creatures is the best!! more

Do not take rabbits here 2/3/2012

Do not take rabbits here. They do not help what so ever. I took my baby rabbit in for an x-ray, with no sores, wounds or anything visible. They shaved her and left her with gaping wounds to the point where I had no choice but to put the bunny down. When told it was their mistake, they still insisted we pay for all of their services, including the shaving. They were very insincere when telling the unfortunate news and explained how well the bunny was otherwise, hopping around and whatnot. I will never return to this vet after their carelessness. more

Suspicious behavior.... 2/2/2011

I was told that was against policy and under no circumstances was anyone permitted in that area for any reason. Needless to say my parrot was not left there & I never returned back again. more

Dr. Weiss is the best vet!! Very caring and straight forward. Provides the best care!! I do not mind waiting for the care that I recieve!! His staff is also very attentive and pleasant. more

Very knowledgeable 12/10/2008

My sister brings her cockatiel here for routine care and I bring my snake here as well. They are very knowledgeable about these types of animals and are able to answer any questions we might have. Highly recommend this office for pet care. more

Good place for exotics 11/23/2008

Dr Weiss is very knowledgeable in avian care. One of the best in the south jersey area. I also took my guinea pigs there for years, they took good care of them! I also have used the office for an emergency and they were very accommodating. more

Parrots 10/22/2008

This is one of the few vet offices that will deal with parrots. Dr. Weiss has handled all our birds. His staff is always pleasant and good with the animals. more

Be Careful Here... 7/17/2008

I use to drive my ferrets 35 mins to see Dr. Link because the hospital specialized in exotics. I probably went for alittle over a year and she seemed very nice but didn't always know answers to my questions. I brought my ferrets in to have vaccines once or twice a year. On my visit final there, Dr. Link administered a round of shots to my 3 ferrets and included a Rabies shot which we didn't discuss and I had never authorized. I had no knowledge of this until after I read the bill. We waited afterwards to view any reactions, which is procedure. The tech that came and checked on us didn't like ferrets and asked if they were ok without looking in the carrier. I thought they seemed ok and said yes. By the time I got home my male ferret started bleeding out of everywhere and throwing up blood. I rushed him back and he quickly died from aspirating blood into his lungs. It was singly the most horrific event I have ever encountered with a pet and entirely avoidable. They were completely unsymp more

Great Vet Care!! 5/16/2007

I have been taking my pets to All Creatures for over 8 years. They have treated my dogs, cat and reptiles. They are experts with exotic pets and have treated my snake and chameleon for illnesses. I have been very pleased with the quality of care, service and caring attitudes of the staff. This is the best in veterinary care, I would highly recommend All Creatures for anyone who loves their pets. more

This place does everything! 4/25/2007

Our family loves animals and we have a zoo. We found Dr. Weiss and his staff to be unbelievable in their knowledge of all of our pets care. We have 2 dogs, 3 cats, 3 birds, a rabbit and ferret. They are like an encyclopedia about all these animals. We cant tell you how many times we have had emergencies and they have always been there. We have spend some money here but it is better to spend and get quality in return then spend and get nothing in return. Do your self a favor and take your loving pets here. more

Great Experience 3/27/2007

We took our dog to the clinic for a second opinion. WOW! We must have wasted a grand at our other vet trying this and that and a million other things. The vet here examined Butch and explained the options we had in order to diagnosis the problem. They ultrasounded\r him and found abscesses in his prostate gland. They said this was unusual in a dog that was neutered and we allowed then to use the ultrasound to get a sample of the abscess. Butch finished a course of antibiotics after his surgery to treat the abscesses and is doing wonderful. Yes is cost us but if we went here first we would have saved a ton. Great place. We are going to take our kids here :) more

Have to comment on past reviews 3/19/2007

I had to comment on all of the prior reviews. People always have something negative to say. They also tend to give one side of a story. My family has been taking our pet's to All Creatures over the past 7 years. We are always asked what veterinarian we would like to see and have never had a problem having anything explained fully to us. The front staff has always been polite. We have been here so many times and have heard people complain about spending money. All vets charge as does doctors and dentists and we have been treated very fairly with prices. We have also seen how ignorant people can be to the staff at the hospital. It sounds like the prior reviewers had some bone to pick with the staff. Who wastes their time reviewing on line anyway. I just came across this site and read the reviews and had to comment. You cant please everybody and I hope everyone reads this so their pets get great care at fair prices and dont listen to people who probably post about every place they go bec more

Vets Good-Staff just so so 11/13/2006

We have been bringing our dogs, cats and small animals here for years. We are very satisfied with the vets themselves and the technicians but the front desk staff has more than once given us wrong information. Even worse, they often act as if they would rather be some place else. We would rather they be, too. PROS: Good doctors 7 techs CONS: So so front desk staff more

Good for specialty animals 6/12/2006

My parents have taken their cockatoo here since they got her. I have gone to the appointments a few times and they have always been great with her. They seem to really care about the animals there and every one was extremely friendly. Their were a little pricey but since they are dealing with an animal that is a little out of the ordinary I guess that can be expected. more

All Creatures Veterinary Care Center 3/1/2006

All Creatures Veterinary Care Center is more like a learning clinic school type office, you never get the same dr , or see the same people working here. I took my bird in for a trimming of his feather's and this last time the place was dorty and the Dr didnt know how to do it and I had to wait for another dr to come in. After that I wouldnt return as my pets are like my children. more

Doesn't Give Explanations Well. 7/2/2005

I first found out about this place a couple of years ago through my friend's recommendation. I took my dog there for his first vet exam and I wasn't that satisfied with the exam. I asked about if I should worry about my dog's watery eyes, they didn't answer me but just added charges for eye drops onto my bill. When I asked about if I should be worried about the few hairless spots on my dog, they added charges for some ointment to my bill, and told me I should return with my dog for some dipping treatment to get rid of the manges. They didn't actually TALK to me about any of the issues I issued - they just sold me products. They diagnosed my dog as having manges, when he didn't. I actually went to one of the 4 scheduled dipping treatent which I was charged $50 for it. I didn't feel right so I stopped taking my dog there. Later on I was confirmed that the skin was hairless due to some trauma, and is not because of mange (which I am certain is the right diagnoses as my dog is perf more
