Wonderful Service Staff 3/24/2008

First I want to say, two of the three present reviews are from the same person and are a duplicate. Not sure what to say about that person's experience. The second reviewer with the fridge, I'm wondering why they had to pay anything if it was a warranty repair!!! This doesn't make any sense. All Brands is the only servicer for LG which will come to my area, and they will work on it regardless of where you purchased the appliance, unlike the one store actually in my town. I cannot thank them enough for how prompt, friendly, and helpful my experience with them was. With warranty repairs, they only get paid one flat rate from the manufacturer. They had to come to my home four times to get my washer fixed, but it was not the fault of the repair person. They replaced what was diagnosed and authorized by LG, which did not fix the problem initially. They had to eat the cost of subsequent visits to finally get my washer working properly, and they were very good about it. I did not pay one penny for the work they did. I can highly praise them in that you do not sit around waiting forever for them to show up. When they say they will be there, they are. They also call to reconfirm and call again when they are en route to your home. I have heard stories of people waiting weeks or months to get parts for their LG. All Brands had the parts in a matter of days and got them installed promptly. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing repair, especially a warranty repair, and doubly especially if they bought it at a "big box" store, since you otherwise will not get service on your appliance. I will never again buy an appliance from a big box store, but I am glad I found All Appliance to help me with the one time I did. more

Very Disappointed 8/7/2007

We also had a bad experience with All Brands. They came out to look at our dryer which was making a loud noise. They charged us about $150.00 to fix the blower, and told us the motor would be good yet for a few more years. We ran the dryer once and it stopped. Less than 48 hours (and one run of the dryer) after the first service call, they came back and said we need a new motor and it would be another approx. $150.00. We would not have put any money into the dryer if we thought we needed a new motor, but the serviceman told us the motor was still good at his first service call. We asked for reimbursement of the part and labor for what they did the first time out, and said we would pay for that service call. They denied that and said the only thing they would do is give us our money back for the blower, which was only $25.00. I will never do business with them again. more

Disappointing 8/15/2006

I used All Brands/VanVreedes service to "repair" my freezer since they are the only company authorized by Frigidaire to repair under warranty in this area. Unfortunately after a charge of $127.00 the freezer still doesn't work...oops...it was the wrong part. Now they want over $300.00 to fix a part under warranty and will not offer credit for the part I paid for that didn't work. By the way - the freezer was only $300.00 new!!! more
