Dr. Alfes is a wonderful vet. Back in August of 2003 my boxer named Bruno (who I rescued from a neglected home)became very very ill. I was afraid for my dog's life and he needed emergency veterinarian care. Mind you this was on a Sunday evening and all the other offices were closed. Dr. Alfes agreed to see him, she even offered to make a house call. After a few hour and extensive testing, we found out that Bruno had parvo.Dr. Alfes was very thorough ruling out all other possibilites.She was able to give him an iv to keep him alive until I could get him to an animal hospital the next day.(At this time her office did not have the capacity to keep him) I thank her greatly for her help and as it turns out Bruno is going to turn 4 years old in October.She is a very thorough, knowledgable,and caring veterinarian, and it didn't break the bank to get my dog the care he needed.
