Alaskan is totally reliable 8/11/2015

The tech came out yesterday but, was not too happy because my problem was not big enough in his opinion to warrant a special trip to stop the water from leaking all over my garage. He was obviously very busy and was having a stressful day. more

Alaskan was prompt, friendly and professional. 8/8/2015

Alaskan sent me an email reminding me of my service call, along with a phone call telling me exactly when they would arrive. The serviceman was prompt, friendly, careful, and very professional. Their service is outstanding, as are the products they sell. I purchased a service contract with them, and am very happy I did! more

This was a great experience, but for are situation, we will not invest in a new air conditioner now, as we most likely will sell the property in 2 years. My regret as I would love to see the new design that Jacob suggested, and the increased efficiency. We will try to get by with old system for now. more

Poor service 8/3/2015

Received call from estimator that he could NOT find address. After explaining where my location was and how to arrive, he proceeded all of maybe four to five minutes to discuss what was needed. Initial service request was to changeover swamp evaporative cooler to AC. He stated it would be $7,000 to $8,000, without taking a single look at the system. Did not bother looking at the evaporative cooler, heat system, did not even go up on roof. Amazing how $$$'s just get thrown, figure just throw out a number and see if customer bites. Well I'm not biting. I think that I will call on a more reputable company to come and advise, suggest and give complete price alternatives. After all, a little service goes a long way. more

The representative was on time, very prepared, and knowledgeable. He offered several options. All in all, a pleasant experience. If and when I decide to add air-conditioning to my evaporative cooling system, I will certainly consider your company. more

Stellar Service 8/1/2015

I've had bad luck in the past finding an AC tech who is polite, straight forward, and knows how to get the job done. I took a shot in the dark and went through Home Depot to have a routine AC inspection. Andrew from Alaskan Air arrived (courtesy call 15 min before which was great) and had all the characteristics above and more. My AC is actually working better than the day it was installed, I'm very impressed! more

Very Good! 8/1/2015

J.R.Rodgers of Home Depot Services came out to look at the roof of my house and gave me a review and an estimate for a new roof in the future with materials from Home Depot. We went into the attic too! It was good to see the underside of the roof. JR pointed out a problem with the heater vent that was simple to repair he said. It didn't take as long as I thought, yet I felt we covered all that was needed. Thank you! more
