Best in Town! 11/29/2011

I found this office when I first moved the city and have been coming here ever since. I have also referred 16 of my co-workers and friends. Dr. Berdan gives the best cleanings that I have ever had. I really appreciate that he takes his time and is very thorough. He always runs on time and treats you like a person and not just another appointment to get through. I have had to have some gum surgeries and he was so gentle I didnt even feel anything and I healed really nicely. He has a great touch! I really enjoy the staff as well. They always treat you like an old friend or family. more

GREAT Experience! 11/15/2011

I contacted the office to set up an appointment-I woke up in great pain and my co-worker recommended that I go to see Dr. Berdan ASAP. What a great experience from start to finish. He went out of his way to put me at ease , answered all my questions (I am a chicken). His staff is wonderful and they are very focused on the patient and their comfort during the procedures. Highly trained professionals in this practice! I will be recommending all my family and friends to him in the future. By the way, he has this computerized wand thing that gives you novacaine without you feeling the injection-Why doesn't anyone else give injections this way? His office is in a great location on the same block as the Plaza Hotel-easy to get to. Beautiful office-zen-like at the front end and high-tech in the treatment rooms. more

Who would have thought? 5/9/2011

I really never thought that I could enjoy going to the dentist, but this dental experience was enjoyable! I went to see Dr. Tomizawa at a friend's recommendation. I had an emergency that I needed to be seen for. Firstly, she squeezed me into her lunch break, which was really nice of her, but she was thoughtful and friendly as well. I definately recommend her, and will be coming back myself! more

best experience 5/9/2011

I had one of the best dental experiences in a long time at this office. It was a very clean, friendly office with very new digitalized equipment. The treatment I had done was painless ( they had some computerized injection thing) and fast. The best part was Dr. Tomizawa. She was great. Really caring and made me feel completely at ease. I almost fell asleep on her chair! I hope everyone gets to experience such a positive dental experience as I did. I highly recommend this office, specifically Dr, Tomizawa! more

another dentist to AVOID in NYC 11/21/2009

i called on three separate occasions to ask about invisalign for the hubby. we talked about cost for the procedure, how many years she has been practicing, how many invisalign procedures she has performed among numerous other questions. and yet on all THREE occasions, they failed to mention that there would be a $225 consultation fee!! every other dentist that i've called in nyc has mentioned their consultation fee UPFRONT (if they had one) and many confirm it upon making an appointment. NOT THIS OFFICE. they failed to mention it when the hubby checked in for his appointment. dr. tomizawa failed to mention it to the hubby while they were discussing the procedure. they failed to mentioned it while he was talking to the receptionist for 15 minutes AFTER his appointment. they failed to mention it until he was ALREADY IN THE ELEVATOR GETTING READY TO LEAVE!! there are so many skilled dentists in nyc that this is one office i'd skip based purely on their LACK of customer service!! more
