worst experience ever!!! I called ahead to see if the bought items they said they did when i went to go sell them, the lady was extremely rude to me. And then said nothing of what I have is selling and said she does not make offers on things that i had to give her the price but that none of this is selling. If she did not want my business all she had to do was say. more

Holy flying rip-off, Batman!!! 5/20/2012

A very interesting place that spent enough on advertising that my fiance decided we needed to visit while on vacation in San Antonio recently. I noticed the prices, then I noticed that they were a little high, then I realized I would have been price gouged if I bought anything here! As a veteran the, military stuff was in sad shape and was above the actual cost on most items that would be serviceable. Rob Zombie is not near anitque enough for display, and the ventalation in the third story was missing and an unbearable odor forced us out quickly. We decided we wanted a couple of books, a total value of $105.00 was the demand. We left and found COLLECTOR first editions, "new", for both books for a total of $17.00 on Amazon. Before you buy here, do yourself a favor and check out Ebay, Amazon, and google shopping first and save a fortune. This place is not recommended. Pros: null Cons: null more

Awesome! 9/7/2009

The first time I went to this store, it was my first date with my now husband. He knew how much I loved looking for antique's. He lived downtown at the time so we walked over to the place, and when I walked in, I was amazed at how filled and big this place was held. Every corner, every turn, there was a piece of furniture, clothing, old toys, jewelry cases stacked with treasures inside. We spent at least two to three hours in the place, just having the best time together. Pros: friendly, filled with items Cons: parking more

Be sure to stop 8/21/2008

this place is nice and neat. Their antiques and collectibles are nice and obviously carefully selected. I didn't see anything that looked junky in this place. The lighting was good and you could easily see everything. more

Lovely place, great memories! 1/15/2008

In September of 07 I was in downtown San Antonio for a wedding and happened to wander through this wonderful place. I saw a stunning old picture of the Virgin of Guadalupe that I thought I couldn't afford to splurge on at the time. In December, I had second thoughts and called them and it had been sold and returned and was even reduced in price. So i thought it must be meant for me. They worked with me to reserve it till I could get it back to Houston (which turned out to be quite an adventure) and they were always kind and accommodating. Lovey was especially sweet. It just got to me now in mid-January and I couldn't be happier. Pros: Huge selection and variety, wonderful staff Cons: Parking is a little bit of a challenge, but worth it. more
