Whether from the smoky smell, the dirt, the ugly patrons or the godawful licorice flavor creeping into my rum and Coke, Al & Vic's assaulted my gag reflex. The tables are early cafeteria style, the rest of the place -- flooring and ceiling -- provides enough white surfaces for you to see the cracks, yellowing, and filth. I can't think of a good reason not to hang out here! Oh, I was nearly hit by pool cues when sitting with a friend. Other than that, I love it!
