Jeff arrived right on time and got right on the job, working efficiently, respectfully, and quickly, using slippers to keep from tracking dirt into the house. After he finished, he took plenty of time to answer some questions patiently without appearing to be rushing off to his next appointment. more

Matt B. did a fabulous job. He started by asking if we had concerns, then he addressed each of them in turn. Matt also had several helpful suggestions and explained their advantages and costs. We chose the suggestions that made sense to us. All in all, a great experience. more

Matt has been extremely helpful. I have not felt the heat in the floor since January. The problem is that I usually turn of the heat when the temperature get to this level. Matt was very professional when he was here. Matt said he will continue to help me next fall to get the radiant heat working correctly. We did not have a great understanding of how a radiant floor heat system worked but Josh really helped by explaining the system to us and optimizing it's operation. more

Our furnace was making a terrible noise. The after-hour answering service contacted Technician Gary who called back within minutes. He arrived about 30 minutes later and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. I have been pleased with this company since they first installed my furnace 15 years ago. more

Chad did a great job. We have young kids at home and it is still quite cold in Minneapolis in March. The furnace was blowing air but not hot air. I called the 24-hour help line for Air Mechanical quite late in the evening, and Chad arrived at 11pm. He immediately know that it was a pressure switch problem and had it solved in half an hour. We really appreciated Chad coming out so late and fixing the problem; otherwise it could have been a rough night with young kids if the temperature in the house dropped too much. Josh did a great job of connecting a hot water line to my humidifier. more

Joshua came to my home to investigate why my furnace had stopped working and would not restart until after it was off for nearly 3 hours. What he found was that I had installed a screen over the outside opening of my wall exhaust to keep the box elder bugs out. He explained that because of the humidity and the cold weather that it had created a film over the screen and that slight blockage told the furnace to shut down. So he removed it and the furnace seemed to work fine. I found him very knowledgeable, informative, friendly and polite. Thank you Air Mechanical. Sincerely David Mosimann more

Gary C. came out to my home to investigate why my furnace had stopped working and than when it did come on, the blower wouldn't come on. What he found was that the capacitor for the blower had burned out. So when the furnace did run, as soon as it got hot and the blower wouldn't run, it would shut off and you could not get it to run again until it cooled down. He said he could install another capacitor but he explained to me that he could not guarantee how long it would last. But at least it got the furnace working again in this cold weather. He also explained that beings my furnace was at least 17 years old or more, that he would strongly recommend that I consider replacing it soon. Because of the how old it was if the blower went out it would not really be cost effective to replace it. So he scheduled a meeting with their representative at my request to come out to my home and show me options and cost. I had expressed to him that I would also consider replacing my air conditioner and hot water heater at the same time as they were both of the same age. Josh was a great help in getting my humidifier unit running correctly. He showed me how to replace the filter and made me more familier with the overall system. I really appreciated the work he did. more
