Worse Doctor and Staff EVER! 5/16/2011

Good: Nothing. Bad: Sat in this office for an hour and 45 minutes. I was told to come in early to fill out new patient paper work. My appt. was scheduled for 9:00am. The doctor didn't walk in until 10:00am. He was running late. How does a doctor run late and keep his patients waiting for that long? I was aggravated and told him I was about to leave. He seemed offended and told me he got caught in traffic. I scheduled 2 appts at the front desk. When I called to cancel I found out they never even scheduled the appt.. Improvements: friendlier front desk and doctor. A doctor that is dependable.. more

Butchered Me 7/9/2010

Good: Nothing! I'd like to show the pictures of what was done to me. You can reach me at heatmj@tampabay.rr.com. Bad: I had no positive results from a mini-lift except broken blood vessels on my face, huge hematoma that created permanent discoloring and scars that will require further surgery to correct the scars. Nothing was lifted. I was no better off and worse for it. I can never wear my hair up because the deformity shows and that is my best look as an actress. He would not address these surgical blunders and refused to see me to discuss a remedy. Other plastic surgeons have told me only surgery will correct these.. Improvements: Correct the problems created by the hands of Dr. Dennis Agliano.. Other: Beware! Beware! I checked his credentials and thought he must be great. He has a lovely beside manner until something goes wrong.. more

Tonsils Out.... think again 6/30/2008

Dr. Agliano supposedly took my 6 year old daughters tonsils out in 1998. Low and behold, they mysteriously are back in 2008 (she's now 16) and now she has to get them out again. Go figure. Apparently he didn't get them all. Not only do we have to pay again, she has to go through the misery all over. Spare your children the misery and take them to another surgeon. more

Drs with too many patients, Drs who are all about the $$$, more than the professional bedside manners a patient really needs.. really leads to unhappy and sometimes traumatic experiences 8/19/2006

I have had constant-all-day-long sneezing, runny nose, migraine issues for quite some time now. I swore it was allergies and finally saw an allergist. I found out I have no allergies but that they believed I have a Deviated Septum. I talked to some people, many people and many recommended this Dr. Agliano guy. I went in talked (mainly to his medical assistant) about my issues and was asked frequently about plastic surgery, but that the real problem is inside my nose and could be treated with a Septoplasty procedure. I told him I don’t need any plastic surgery I just need whets going on inside of my nose fixed. Finally the surgery day came, where I had to meet him at a surgery center, bringing my fiancé who afterwards would drive me home. Well I was filling out the paperwork, waiting in the lobby, my name finally gets called, then next thing you know I’m being "put under" then the next thing I know I wake up, my DR is nowhere to be found, they said he left and went back to his office. He left me nothing. NO after surgery care instructions, no comments before or after surgery, not even to my fiancé, he just slipped out the back door and left me there. Later that night I all-of-the-suddenly out of nowhere started breaking out in these hot and cold sweats, I was shaking and we saw I had a fever of 101, checked a few minutes later and it was almost 105. My fiancé rushed me to the ER where I was out in a bed while they waited to try to get in contact with the Dr. About 5 hours later they got were able to reach him, gave me an IV and a prescription and had me leave. Let me also mention the Dr. knew I had never had a surgery, and have a family who lacks sharing their experiences, so I really had no idea what to expect. I would have thought they would have explained more to me just because of that fact. I didn’t know to call him when I got the shakes and the fever. No one told me while I was in the office, or after the surgery, or before. It was just a very horrible experience for me. I'm sorry but I can't stand Doctors who get so hooked on the business and money that they lack caring and taking time with a patient. He was just done, done, on to the next one. I went back to his office the next day and was explaining how this affected me and he refused to listen, he kept leaving the room while I was talking and would not even look at me. You may know him as a good Doctor, like I said, I've heard many people say he is a great surgeon. Just please make sure he doesn't lack doing the rest of his job or you will be in a world of hell. Well not even a year later the symptoms have returned in full effect and now I need to do some extreme research on a better ENT because I will never ever go to Dr. Dennis S. Agliano again, nor recommend him to a single person ever. I'm sorry, that may sound harsh, but if you could have been there, you would feel where I am coming from. He is all about the money and even if you have an inner nose problem, he will try to shove the plastic surgery on you, because he does all that stuff too. Don't let the same thing happen to you.
