Great company that saved us thousands of dollars. My wife and I started house hunting in the spring. We found what we thought was our dream home. We had gone through all of our inspections when I came across an article on the web about the problems with stucco homes. As we were purchasing a stucco home I decided to obtain more information. I contacted five or six companies. Two didn't answer their phone and one didn't return my call. I spoke to a woman at advanced mold diagnostics and was impressed with her knowledge. After much angst over spending $800 we decided to hire them. The owner Craig came out and spent 3 hours going over every square inch of the property. He pointed things that our home inspector failed to notice and the images on his thermal camera were enlightening. We decided not to purchase the house. I'm convinced that if we had, we would have been buying someone else's nightmare. We're grateful to Craig and his team. more

I am a former employee of Advanced Mold Diagnostics and I do not recommend them for anything. Craig Camel is an alcoholic and will show up to the job site completely trashed. I have seen it with my own eyes. The crews he has do not know what they are doing. He hires people with no knowledge of the remediation processes. Do not fall victim to their scams. He and Gary both are con artists. Do not answer their ad for mold techs on craigslist it's not worth it. I have 5 years in the business and have to say I have never seen such a slap together company. Save your money and call Belfor property restoration or serv pro they offer the same services as AMD. You will be much happier and save some money all estimates are free and they will get a certified hygienist to come test and hand you a report in 3 business days. more

I contacted this company to help me find a leak on a Stucco front of a home. On the initial call they promised that they would find where the leak was coming from and scheduled an inspection and infrared scan of our home. When the supposed Drexel University Graduated Engineer arrive he immediately started talking about needing to tear down our Stucco with out even discovering where the leak came from. During the inspection the "engineer" called out Green paint to be mold and kept trying to scare me with the idea that our home had a mold issue. After paying almost $1000 for the inspection and scan it took over a month to get our report and only after about 5 or six calls. I finally received the report and I will me more then happy to share this report with anyone that wants to review their work as you will see that they are completely incompetent and scam artist. I wont even mention the way I was treated by their staff over the phone. None the less they didn't find the leak, called out green paint as mold in the report and never got back to me. Hired this company to help us with a mold problem. The owner is very arrogant and dishonest. The crew was a bunch of young guys with very little experience. This company is nothing more than a sloppy construction crew. Save your money and do the cleanup yourself. more

Craig came out to take a look at a small mold problem we had from a leak in our roof. Mold ended up growing on our son's bedroom ceiling. We were concerned because he has asthma. Craig came out, assessed the area and recommended a minor remediation project which he was able to put on his busy schedule immediately for us. We are very happy that we chose Advanced Mold Diagnostics. We had a couple of other companies come out and give us pricing and most of them wanted to day way more work than was necessary. It is nice to know there are still contractors out there who are not trying to fill their pockets with homeowners money for no reason. Thank you Craig! more

I wish I could get my congressman to do something about how builders build us home that need extensive repairs six years after they're built, should last a lot longer for the money we paid. We have mold in our basement from the stucco leaking around our front door. We hired this company and the owner and two helpers came out to look for what was wrong. A day of work and a thick report which followed in a week detailed all the thing's the builder did wrong. Wish we had hired these guys before purchasing our home, certainly will use them to fix it as they know there stuff. Great company service and we feel very comfortable with Craig the owner. more

We had water leaking in through our windows and searched around for a stucco inspection co. After speaking with four different companies we selected advanced mold and we were very impressed. They spent a lot of time and showed us what was wrong. The bad part is we will have to spend a good bit of money taking off our stucco. Highly recommend them as the guys who came out knew what they were doing and where to look for the damage. more

Good: Professionalism, prompt attention to our needs, cost was reasonable and office staff was great.. Bad: There wasn't anything negative about my experience with Craig or Advanced Mold Diagnostics.. Improvements: I cannot ask them to improve anything since they came out on a Saturday at the last minute to help us. They were able to even turn our report around to us in 2 days so that we could make a decision about whether to purchase the home or not. They saved us thousands of dollars in repairs we would have to make if we purchased this home. I called them the following week when we found the home we eventually purchased. Craig even gave us a discount on this inspection. How can you ask them to improve?. Other: I find the other reviews about this company very interesting. One of the reviews is from 4 years ago - I mean are you kidding? I found Craig Camel and Advanced Mold Diagnostics helpful, informative and extremely professional. This company is rated very highly in my book!. more

We had this company come to the building OCT 2006 and I've been trying to find a way to get out "buyer beware" to others every since. For a brief stop of about 20 minutes, an arrogant attitude and a folder of information we were charged $495. There was no follow up or treatment. Some mold was evident, to be sure. If you believe you have a mold issue and it cannot be tracked, this might be your company. One of our board members was sold on the advertising that they had a mold sniffing dog. The man came in the building alone, stated he could tell it was here w/o a dog and pointed out some visible locations in the basement. He handed me some papers in a folder and took off. If we misunderstood the purpose and function of this company, take this review with a grain of salt in that respect. Regardless, I did not like his attitude and wish I had asked to see the dog. more

I would be very careful when hiring this company. We had a very bad experience with them, and ended up having another contractor come in to fix the job they did They were NOT very nice either, and refused to admit to their mistake or fix it. The job ended up costing a lot of money in the end! more

Advanced Mold Diagnostics is a local consulting firm located in Broomall. I contacted them when I had a concern about mold in my home. The staff was very educated and through in explaining their process for assessing mold. A consultant come to my house and spent several hours looking over the entire property to determine if what I thought was mold, was reason for concern. They came equipped with several different types of equipment and did samples. Within a week I had a complete report outlying my problem and also the cause of my mold problem. I was very pleased at the professionalism of the entire staff and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to have their home or business tested for mold. more
