I saw Dr. Applebaum recently for some Botox and I loved the treatment. He was very professional and my appointment was merely a 20 minute wait. He discussed many options of rejuvenation that were affordable to me, and now I am scheduled to have Ulthera with him before the holidays. He wasn't pushy at all, on the contrary, I was the one who considered other options after reading the brochures in the room.\r \r I read some of the negative reviews about this office, and I am glad that I made my own decision. Although it seems like a busy office, it was worth the wait to see him. more

Dr. Friedler performed Fraxel laser resurfacing on some acne scars of mine. The procedure was entirely tolerable, and I barely had any swelling immediately afterwards. I saw Dr. Fox after being referred by a friend from my temple, for what I thought was a suspicious lesion, and it was in fact cancerous! Dr. Fox examined me, biopsied it, and excised it immediately. \r \r I am so grateful to him, and now he will be my family's dermatologist! He had an amazing bedside manner, explained what I should expect, and although the wait was a little long, I will recommend all my friends and family to him. I was never the woman who would undergo any type of cosmetic surgery until now. I am a happy person but sometimes I get mistaken to be a sad and unreasonable person. Many of my friends have told me that it?s because I always look like I?m frowning and I always look like I?m sad. I had a very good experience there. I went to get the bags under my eyes removed and Dr. Joshua Fox was the one that removed them. It didn't hurt and now they are gone. I will go back there for anything else I need, and recommend this place for anyone else who wants any quick cosmetic procedure done. more

I came to them to have some scars removed. Spoke to the receptionist and asked how long it would take. I was told it would be about 10-15 min. It took half an hour, but that was to be expected, there were so many people there. I get called in, they already know what I want from my charts and I was out of there in less than a half hour. It stung a little but it was worth it. I now no longer have those ugly scars on my face. more

I went for a consultation with Dr. Fox. He not only diagnosed what I had originally went in for, but recommended cosmetic laser treatments, that were very affordable. \r \r Now I can have that outdated tattoo removed, and laser resurfacing to get rid of my wrinkles. They even have a plastic surgeon Dr Lebowitz who specializes in liposuction. It's refreshing to see that patient care is important to this practice instead of the almighty dollar. \r \r I can't wait to have my cosmetic laser treatments, for a fraction of what other practices are charging. I had to wait an hour to get into the doctor's office. Then I stripped into a hospital gown and had to wait nearly another 20 minutes to see the doctor. I was about to leave to go pick up my kid from the babysitter because it was taking so long. The only time I ever had to wait this long was when my OBGyn was delivering another person's baby! There are NO emergencies in a standard dermatology practice. Why such a long wait??\r \r When I finally did see the doctor, bedside manner was just okay. When she was looking over my whole body for any moles, she missed my hands which had 2 moles on them! (that I was concerned about) Like come on, if you're doing a full body check, you have to look at the WHOLE body. \r \r After cutting off a couple of moles, the assistant threw a paper on the counter saying i should follow these instructions to let the areas heal properly. I went in for a treatment to have some scarring removed and the treatment was everything I expected it to be.\r \r The procedure was performed without a hitch and with the desired result. I will be going back to get additional scarring removed.\r \r The doctors were competent and knew what they were doing and I would recommend it, just based on that. more

They need to remember that they offer a service, and they depend on people, the staff is rude, they talk with bad attitude. more

I had an appointment for 5:45 pm and I got there at 5:35 pm, I asked them how long the wait was and they said 45 minutes to an hour. I wanted to come back in 1/2 an hour and they said I couldn't. The girl at the front desk was extremely rude and told me to if I leave they'll cancel my name and I would have to reschedule. \r Then they told me I had to pay $125 just for the consultation and if the doctor ""wanted"" he could apply a portion of it or none of it towards my procedure. When the lady on the phone told me the $125 would be applied to my procedure. Cons: Long wait and the girl at the desk was VERY rude more

I?m writing the following to hopefully avoid you heartache, distress and disgust. When I arrived at Advanced Dermatology (NY,NY) I was greeted by a receptionist who signaled me to the door (there are two buildings) so I assumed she wanted me in the other one, once there the receptionist asked me who I was there to see, I gave the doctors name and waited, she called the other building and laughed rolling her eyes. Then she called me stupid, and told me to go back . After arriving to the right place I had to wait an hour to be taken in.\r Once in the tinny office I was told to strip my cloth (curtains opened to a highway view) and wait to be seen. I waited with my cloths on for 30 minutes until the ?doctor? came in, she never introduced herself, she just asked to see what I was there for, she gave me a puzzled look , a ?diagnosis? and treatment which I never consented to. After she concluded the procedure I had some questions , but the good old doctor simply said: quote, ?look it up? and ?do some research? when I asked her again she gave me the same answer, walked to the door and left. Once home I tried to find information but had to call her to see if she could be able to help me, she simply yelled at me for having to repeat herself and hung up. \r Maybe It had to do with the fact that I was a student working as a waitress when I first went to the clinic 2 years ago (concluded my masters already) , or maybe she thought that because I had no insurance and a very common last name she could treat me this way. Advanced Dermatology offers a number of high quality dermatologists with the most recent treatments and equipment in a patient oriented pleasant environment. Staff are polite and go out of their way to support patient needs. The offices are busy but well organized and very accomodating. Appoinments are available on short notice. Doctors and staff make an effort to insure patients understand their treatments and follow-up instructions. Cancer pateints are treated in a separate area and receive indivualized treatment tailored to there needs. I high recommend this group for their depth and professionalism. here is the worst experience i ever got. the reception ladies behaviour is very badddddddddd. their response to patients are very rude.not even having a smile on their face.first time we took oppintment for 8.P.M and the treatment by the doctor is only 2 mins and we reached home on 10:30 PM which is just 15 min drive from the hospital.thta means we waiting for 2 hours. next time we took oppintment at 6'0 clock and we reached home at 10:00 Pm that is 4 hours waiting.........that is the worst experience i ever had and also i am telling you again the laser treatment is just 2 mins.........\r i just tell you.........please dont go Pros: nothing Cons: very expensive,poor service more
