Advanced Court Svc

The name of this business should be INCOMPETENCE! I have never received such horrible service in my life. Paperwork not filed timely, paperwork filed incorrectly, paperwork sent back from court and not completed correctly prior to sending back in, phone calls not returned, sorry excuses as to why things not done - a real INCOMPETENT individual!! Less than one star rated. more

I agree with everything written below! My ex hired her and although she claimed to be just a ""mediator"" and in the middle she catered to him just because he hired her. They had secret meetings and yes she messed up the paperwork. She claimed the marriage settlement agreement went before the jugde and that the judge forgot to sign it. She claimed a copy of the marriage settlement agreement would be sent by mail but I never received anything. My ex ended up with a copy so I called to ask for mine. She will not even allow you to come in to make a payment without an appointment. She informed me that there was only one ""free"" copy of the marriage settlement agreement given out (which was to my ex) and I was told I would have to pay $25 for a copy and make an appointment. She is the biggest b*tch I have ever dealt with. She was very rude and even no showed/no call once for an appointment. I have heard a lot of bad things about this woman from other parallegals. Amazing she is still in business. Take your business else where and save yourself the headache!! more

I can't say how bad these ""ladies"" are. They do not know what they are talking about, pretend that they are lawyers, want everything to be by apointment only, even if dropping off paper work. Horrible, overpriced, uneducated, rude people. My wife and I were having no problems going through the divorce, but because my wife chose Advanced Paralegal, I am now butting heads over it. Please take my advice and save yourself the some money and headache and stay away from Advanced Paralegal. Pros: Not many, maybe location? Cons: Everything, I might as well have pitched my money into the ocean. more

The experience I had with Eva Williams was the worst possible experience I could imagine. I was lied to, manipulated and extorted for money, she set up appointments for me that i told her I could not make and then tried to charge me when I didn't make them. She told me that she filed my paperwork and when I called the courthouse to verify, they said that nothing had been filed in my name since the opening statements 9 MONTHS AGO! There were errors in her paperwork, and when I pointed them out, she refused to fix them. She assured me that my divorce would be complete by May, and its January and it hasn't even been filed (which she still denies). When I brought all of this up to her, she accused me of slander and threatened to call the police. I asked for the paperwork back to have an attorney look it over ( the paperwork legally belongs to me, because I paid her in full) and she refused to give it up, threatening to shred it. I plan to file a class action lawsuit against her. I had to have some of my initial divorce papers done over (my fault) and Eva glady accepted my additional fee's of $605 as well as the additional court filing fee of $395. She then didn't show up to work for weeks (so I'm told) as her child was in the hospital. When I went to another Paralegal to finish up my divorce (and yes, pay even more money again), that's when Eva wanted to make an appt with me to discuss the money she has of mine. Low and behold, I show up for my 3pm appt (she's in with another client of course). Eva gets done about 3:30 and takes the gentleman in the waiting room, whose appt was at 3:30 (1/2 hr after mine). He gestured and mentioned to her that ""I"" was there first. She didn't comment, look at me, or anything! I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE TREATED ME LIKE THIS after asking me to make an appt with her.\r \r I would live to give a recommendation to those that may be searching for great help with a divorce...see Yolanda at The Divorce Center in Fresno. I also am a former employee and I couldn't believe the service given. I was ashamed to have worked with such a person. She pretends she's the sweetest person, but she's not. She's selfish.\r \r She would have the assistant do most of the work. She missed practically every Tuesday and left all the work to the assistant and receptionist. She would come in late and the assitstant would have to make excuses to the clients on why they were waiting so long. She'd leave early on Fridays. She took so many days off, but wouldn't let the employees really have any. The pay was also ridiculous! \r \r When paperwork came back from the court with errors she had us stretch the truth to the clients. Any time a client would disagree with her she would yell at them and then degrade them.\r \r She favored hispanics and blacks probably because she's mexican and her husband is black. She would give them lower prices over any one else.\r \r She wouldn't give legal advice....she called it giving them options to think about.\r \r Stipulations, Wills, Child custody agreements were all pretty cut and paste with a few edits to make it fit each client.\r \r Sometimes she would have clients sign things in advance and she'll just date it when it's ready to be sent. If things are sent back from the courthouse due to error and the clients signature was needed again she would copy the signature herself!\r \r When it was slow she would have the receptionist or assistant call other paralegal or other legal document preparers to see what they say for an initial call and for prices.\r \r The bankruptcy is a joke. You can get all the forms at the court house and there is a fee wavier for the filing. She's not even the one who does them. The assistant prepares all of the work and meets with the clients.\r \r She talks about all her clients after they leave. \r \r I would NOT recommend this office for ANYTHING! more

I went to Eva for my Bankruptcy. She never did meet with me, but one of her employees did and I signed the contract for only $125.00. I was filing on close to 100k, so yes it did take me longer than a average person to get all creditors/collection agencies together. Alot of them were not reporting, so I had to do research, which is very time consuming. When you sign the contract you have a deadline and if you go over that deadline she WILL charge you more money for nothing she has done to help you and NOT doing ANY paperwork for you, at all. You have to have a appointment just to ask any questions on the paperwork she gave to you to fill out. She will charge you if you miss a appointment. She does present herself, professional, but dont let her fool YOU. She will over charge you, she DID it to me. She did take advantage of me with her collecting my money and no services was NEVER completed. I finally seen what she was doing and I ended up going through another Parallegal. Stay away!! WE REALLY NEED TO GET A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT AGAINST HER FOR THE PEOPLE SHE OVER CHARGED, BY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF. more

Absolutely a place where u dont want to spend ur money!!! They are very unprofessional and do mistakes on ur paperwork purposely to charge u more for their mistakes! I dnt see how she is still in business! She will acuse u to the police! Beware! She is a great con artist!!! She causes drama just to not do her work! She is located on west shaw fresno ca! Even her employees quit after they get to know her Con Artist ways! Just look at the reviews!!! Stay away! we should all take her to court at the same time! more

I worked for Advanced Paralegal Solutions and Eva the owner is the worst person i have ever met in my live. She takes advantage of her clients by overcharging them. She appears to be the sweetest person during the interview and studies the person to see if its possible to overcharge. DO NOT GIVE HER YOUR BUSINESS!!! more

For unprofessionalism this company receives the top rating. Rude staff. Owner is condescending. You need an ""act of congress"" to speak with a staff member. Rules are made up as your case is completed. If you walk-in the office and you do not have an appointment, you are charged a $39 walk-in fee. However, if you have an appointment, you may wait over an hour to be seen. On two occasions, the paralegal was 90 minutes late. (I was the first morning appointment at 9:00 a.m. and the paralegal did not show until 10:30 a.m.) When appointment was made to review the documents, I was not escorted into an office or conference room. I reviewed and discussed the changes with the assistant in the waiting room! Privacy was of no concern to this company. \r Also, when completing paper forms, found them to be outdated. Forms contained tyopgraphical errors and had consistency issues.\r Avoid this company like the plague! Cons: Rude, unprofessional, condescending more

I used this company to file my uncontested divorce in February 2007. I am still married due to a clerical error that I was blamed for. I was told at two occasions that I would have to pay them more money to fix THEIR error. I refused, and was told that ""I was lost and needed to go take my meds"". My case was closed twice without my knowledge. I contacted the Business Bureau and Ms. Williams finally agreed to fix my divorce at no charge. However, she made sure I knew that she was only going through with it to stay in good standing with the Business Bureau. Very unethical business practice! These woman have no business in the paralegel field. They do the paperwork wrong and then blame you! The charge you for their mistakes and treat you like you are the idiot. Be careful with this company they are just a big rip off when you are in need of legal advise. DON'T USE THEM....USE SOMEONE ELSE!!!!! Cons: too many to list more

This office misrepresents themselves as being attorneys, efficient and accurate in their work. They misfiled my paperwork, did not properly fill out my paperwork, thus my divorce is having to start all over again. Neither of the ladies in the office will give you the same answer, when asked the same questions. The only thing they are 'advanced' in is the attempt to belittle you, take over the conversation and shove you out the door. DO NOT USE THEM!! You will get ripped off!!!!!!!! Pros: NONE!
