take the extra walk to B&H.. had the worst experience in all my professional photography career... total bait and switch when i purchased a used prime lens.. horrible horrible customer service when error was brought to their attention.. took ten days for the manager to actually speak to me.. think twice before buying from them.. customer service is everything.. and theirs was nothing... have been a loyal customer and was treated soooo poorly... sad parting ..but will never give them a dime of my hard earned money ever again. more

Nice People, Nice Prices 2/1/2012

I expected Adorama store to be really big at first I was surprised that it was not so. But no problem. Very nice people in the store made it feel like proper camera store with people who LOVE cameras and all things connected. More like a family business but with everything anyone wants to buy.\r Also, found very good advice. Even advice to spend less money on some things!\r \r I'm coming back for sure and will recommend highly to all. Thank you Adorama staff for making me have such a nice visit. more

Good photo store 3/16/2006

This store is great for all photo needs. They always do a great job printing my photos, they even give the option of having borders printed on your prints! They have a lot of photo eqipment and supplies in stock. They are Jewish, so they have different store hours, so check before going! PROS: Good prints! CONS: Could be friendlier more

Good for supplies 11/24/2005

Adorama is a great place to shop for cameras, equipment, film, photo paper and finishing supplies such as frames, mats and portfolios. The pricing is only slightly more than B&H, but their selection is not as large. I wasn't very impressed with their film processing and printing, however. I felt their color was not as good as other labs. more

Great Photogtaphy Store 11/4/2005

Adorama is a great store if you are looking for cameras and supplies. They sell almost everything in there for the professionals. They have film and digital cameras and the staff is pretty knowledgeable. They also rent cameras and equpiment if you are in need of rentals. There pricing is not bad. They also sell used cameras and they are kept in really good condition. more

One of the most wellknown camera store 11/3/2005

Adorama has an exellent film developing skills. Yet, I am not so sure if they keep their developing service or not. Right now on their website you can only find mailers for Kodak, etc but not their own mailers. I used to send my film to their store a lot because the quality is just amazing. One thing seems to be interesting is that they seem to have a lot of days off. I had my brother stopped by their stores to pick up some films for me. And the first three trips the store was closed. So better to check up their schedule before you made the trip. more

good prices on cameras 8/23/2005

I got my nikon F1 here at a very reasonable price. Of course it was used, but the camera was especially clean. The salesperson who helped was very helpful and even offered a good price for it. Adorama also offers many of the professional grade films for a reasonable price. I'd recommend this place to others. more

Fairly large and accessible, as far as Manhattan stores go, Adorama has a very friendly staff and almost anything you are looking for in the way of photography. more
