I arranged my wedding with Ray having never met him. I was apprehensive at first but every detail exceeded my expectations! He arranged photos, beverages, food, music. The steel drum player he recommends is a must have! Smather's beach is absolutely gorgeous! Ray's wife is super charming and bent over backwords to make sure my guests had full drinks and were enjoying themselves. Ray is very laid back but don't let that frighten you. The resort I hired for my wedding hired Ray to officiate because I wanted someone in a Captains/Admirals uniform to go with our nautical theme. He literally forgot to show up to the 11:30am ceremony...the coordinator called him and he made it over an hour late. Thank god key west is a small island to travel through. He also lied to me when he got there and said he got stuck behind a Conch Train (key west tours)...which I had already known that he just forgot. I emailed two weeks before, and two days before to remind him. He also had the custom ceremony that he just had to read word for word, which he never went over....so! during the ceremony was stumbling over words and skipping parts. It was awful, and I hope no one has to go through what we went through with this guy. Pros: Seemed layed back and willing to work with your ideas Cons: Completely unreliable! more
