Gus and his crew put a remanufactured transmission and larger oil pan with larger oil cooler with new fan clutch in my 95 F450 super duty They had the truck done when promised and rechecked every thing a month later to see that every thing was tight and no leaks. I pull a trailer hauling tractors totaling up to 15,000 lbs.+. Gus and family along with crew are great to deal with. more

Rip off joint 6/9/2018

Handed a 350 Chevy trans to them for rebuild took three weeks to get done leaked more than when I gave it to them looks like all they did to it was $@!#% paint job on it don’t believe by the way it looked it was even taken apart brought it back and was given a runaround about warranty and never got it repaired more

Highly Recommend Rebuilt 4x4 Chevy in 2016 4/29/2017

This well-deserved review ***** is a long-time coming. Coming from a family where my ekders, who were mechanic, I decided to wait a few months and make sure the transmission repair was done right. Well, of course with my Blazer functioning perfectly, the review slipped my mind. So now, I have a friend in Chicago with a similar dilema, high-priced quotes, and I am definitely referring him to Gus. The outrageous quotes for my 1996 Chevy Blazer 4x4, in the Chicago burbs where so high, I thought it wouldn't get done, as my vehicle wasso old. So I went to my Laporte yellow book and came across Accurate and after doing my thorough NCIS Abby style "background check," I called Gus, explaining my dilemma, in greater detail that the poor guy needed to know. He was so kind, caring, showed such concern, he won me over. Even with towing charges (50+mi.) and running into a few issues that made his work take a little long, he stood by his quote price, far below those Chicago prices. Wonderful service 4/7/2017

I was visiting from out of town and needed service on my car. Gus and his team diagnosed the problem quickly and was able to repair it that afternoon. Mechanics are extremely knowledgeable and very competent. They also offered to give me a ride home. These guys will go out of their way to provide service. They are also very professional and act like gentleman. I highly recommend this business. more

Totally screwed me over 11/20/2016

Took car there for brakes, totally overcharged me for costs, could not figure out what was going on with check engine light coming on. Each time I took it back it was unrelated and more money. Supposedly did a tune up, fuel injectors, another catalytic converter and after 3-4 times of taking it back still light coming on. I finally took to another garage and showed them the shady receipts I had, never put what was done and parts etc, the garage was astonished at the prices I was charged and the find out they didn't even replace the correct converter. The garage who finally fixed the problem felt so bad and knows of Gus just as the auto parts store who convinced me to take it somewhere else. I wouldn't recommends Gus and his crew to anyone !!! Took me for a BIG RIDE AND COST ME A FORTUNE!!!! more

Outstanding 10/14/2016

There are still mechanics out there you can trust! Gus was honest with his evaluation and as fair as you can be with the price and performed quality work on our transmission. I would highly recommend Accurate . Gus (Accurate) is a business model , not only for repairing vehicles, but also how to take care of a customer. Kudos..We will be back. more

Accurate Auto and Transmission are very polite and very good. They worked on my transmission and so far so good, everything has been working and running well. They also checked a few other things on my blazer including the transmission fluid and they even put declogger in it, they are really willing to do anything to make sure you have a good experience. I have recommended them to other people and do so whenever I can. more

Accurate Auto and Transmission did transmission work for me and they finished the job quickly. I was really happy with how they got me back my car in a reasonable amount of time. If you're looking for mechanical work, try them out. Their prices are fair and they do great work. more

Five star service 12/16/2015

I own four vehicles and have been taking them to Accurate Auto and Transmission for years and have been very satisfied. Gus and his team have rebuilt my engine, installed an a/c unit and fixed my brakes and the work has always been good and the service is responsive. Scheduling an appointment is easy and I recommend Gus at Accurate Auto and Transmission to all of my friends. more

Great customer service. 12/1/2015

I used Accurate Auto to have a part replaced on my car. The customer service was great. They came to my house to pick the car up. They returned it in a timely manner. There was a defect with the part that they replaced, but they fixed the problem with no issues. It was the best possible situation for a return. Once they made the fix I haven't had any issues with the car. I am happy with the prices and results. Their prices were very competitive and honest. more

Accurate Auto & Transmission serviced three cars for me in the last 8 or 9 months. They installed a new engine in one and did a power steering unit in another. Their work was good. more
