I wanted to leave a quick comment about David M. who was really wonderful in lieu of a bad situation last night at our house. Our toilet was completely not draining. This is the 2nd attempt. The tech who came a month ago did some cleaning in our bathroom. But we still had to mop the floor & wash the 2 large bath rugs because of the mess that was left behind. This time, David tried the simple method to unclog the toilet - didn't work. Then he took the toilet off & used a big machine. Job done. He fixed the drainage problem, put the toilet back, cleaned everywhere, caulked the toilet perimeter, gave us a full report and a smile. Incredibly unprofessional. I called them as I had a leak, explained in detail the situation and they said they'd have someone out in an hour. Cut to 45 minutes later they call and say actually it will be actually be 2 hours or so. Then after 2 hours and 15 minutes they call and they say "Ernesto" is running late "due to traffic" and apologized but it would be ANOTHER hour. Then that last hour passed and they called. Were they calling to tell me he was arriving?? Nope they called to tell me he wasn't going to be coming and no one was. The newest dispatch person said she didn't know what happened but he wouldn't be arriving. And that's it. Save yourself the trouble. I should have called a real plumbing service not these scumbags. Unbelievable. more

My water heater failed today after 10 years of service. My call to Rescue Rooter brought service technician Shon B. to my house. I explained to him I'm very hard of hearing and he was most patient with me and tried his best to communicate with me, and he did an excellent job with that. He checked the water heater and found the heating unit needed to be replaced. He presented his opinion on repairing it or just replacing the whole water heater. He explained the situation very effectively, and I knew from a previous conversation. a couple of years ago with Robert M., another Rescue Rooter technician who I've known for many years, that Shon B. was being was being accurate about the course of action. It was time for a new water heater. The important factor was the replacement possible the same day, and Shon assured me that he would have it done today. He picked up the new one, and did a excellent job of removing the old one and installing the new one. When he was done, he made sure the patio area was cleaned off of the old sludge that leak out of the old unit, and the work area was cleared of all the new packaging material. I had him come into the house to take care of the paperwork, and he took great strides in not bringing in any dirt or shoe prints from the job. He took care of filling out the extended warranty card for me. Shon was a pleasure to deal with, a fine young gentleman, and excellent technician. He provided an all around outstanding experience. My compliments to the Rescue Rooter for having him on your staff. Thank you. more

We recently had major issues with our pipes. What we assumed to be a standard blockage causing water backing up into our shower turned out be a much bigger issue. After some minor digging to get to our mainline, Ro found that our pipes were so old, rusted, cracked, leaking and even had plants growing through the cracks and causing extra blockage. Ro was at our house for 4 days making sure the problem was solved fully (and not just some band aid solution). He truly went the extra mile even at the end removing some mud that had entered the new piping during the maintenance work. He was honest and thorough in his communication and we couldn't have wished for a better experience from a messy situation. Thank you Ro! more

My first experience with this company and the agent they send me was not good at all. They are not 24/7 available as they claim. They don’t confirm your appointment either until last minute. The first agent they send just looked at the faucet and didn’t do anything and made an appointment for the next day. The second agent came unprepared. I had to explaining everything all over again. Why they send out the first agent, I have no idea. The second agent Service Pro Mendoza R. acted like it was his first day on the job. He wanted my undivided attention the entire time. Instead of focusing on the faucet he kept talking to me and asking me questions that I was not qualified to answer. Some of the inappropriate questions he asked was what type of a landlord I had. Was he into quick fixes or permanent fixes. All he did was unscrew the faucet knobs and screw them back together, and then said "look it works." He talked my ear off about not knowing what the problem is. He sat a lot and read stuff (what I have no idea) and took notes. He charged my landlord a reduced price of $100 for coming out and for not doing anything. He wanted me to sign papers but did not give me time to read it. He was pushy and could not answer any of my questions. 10 minuets after he left the problem reoccurred. Worst experience ever. I took time off from work for absolutely nothing. 2 times. What a waste of time. I will never call Rescue Rooters again. more

These guys did terrific work at out home in Torrance. It was a big and difficult job and they carried if off without a hitch. The work was well done, on time and at the agreed on price. They were Friendly, timely, neat clean and always took care to not damage or dirty our home. I would recommend them to anyone who is having any kind of plumbing problems. You might not be happy about your plumbing but you will be have with this crew and the work they do. more

I had a faucet leak in the garage for the garden hose. Called Rescue Rooter, overall....I am very impressed with the technician.. Efrain Torres, very polite, calm, informed, professional. He would be the best help when you are in distress. The only thing that I would comment is for the scheduler to let you know that the time they indicated was far from estimate so that one can plan properly. more

David came out to fix my. Hot water problem. He was very professional and identified the issues and took care of them very efficiently. He had an extremely pleasant personality and seemed very knowledgeable about the issues with hot water heaters. I would highly recommend him. more
