A-Ok Tv

If you learn of a TV repair business that is operated out of a mini storage facility, the owner lives in same storage facility, and the name of the repair place is A-OK TV, do the right thing and stay away. This ""business"" will not be in operation much longer. Reason I say these things: Curtis ""Curt"" Nelson who is the owner required a $35 estimate to inspect a 50in Samsung Plasma television which is very reasonable in my opinion. This $35 was paid in cash by myself. I never received said estimate. After a week had passed I called Curt Nelson and he said that he was out of the office, but would return and get my estimate. Still no call back. I called a second time and when Curt Nelson learned who I was, he hung up. I returned the call stating that 'possibly' the phone lost signal and asked for a return call. Of course he never returned my call. A few days later, I called using my wifes number. He didn't answer but called back promptly. Again, upon learning who I was, he hung up. At no time will he answer the door to A-OK TV. I hope Curt Nelson receives a notification that this review has been left. Curt, you know you are wrong in what you are doing. Although I am the first to write a review, I have learned that I am not the only one having this same issue with you, Curt. You have MY property that I gave you in good faith. It is YOUR JOB and responsibility to fulfill your duties of being a TV repair man. Think about what I'm saying, Curt - you need prayer. What you are doing is illegal. You are scamming innocent civilians of their property which is then sold...by you. It frightens me further knowing that you promote ""in home repairs"". Are these in home repairs done so that you can come to the residence at a later time and take their belongings as well? Curt, how can you live your day to day life and not watch your back for people that you have robbed? Get help soon. Please, anyone that is interested in TV repair, look elsewhere. I gave the owner (Curt) a television to repair in February 2011. He said he would call me in two days to give me an estimate of the repairs. He charged me $35 as a fee to diagnose the problem. No problem. Guess what?? Yep...you guessed it....he never called! I gave him the TV in FEBRUARY. It's now JUNE!! I have called and gone by his shop a dozen times now. Each time given a new excuse....""I was in the hospital...I had an emergency in Florida....my son was in the hospital""! My response: ""But you've had my TV since FEBRUARY!!"" All I want is my TV back. Keep the lousy $35 bucks! I stopped by one morning and he locked the door in my face as I walked up LOL Now....to explain what the REAL problem is: EVERYTIME I go by his shop on Rasco (in Southaven) he smells like he's been bathing in Budweiser. If I stop by at 10am or 5pm....all I smell is alcohol! Come on man....you obviously have a problem. Get some help dude! Forget the TV repo (not repair...repo) business you're into. Get yourself to AA quick! Now...on top of all his personal problems he is going to have to deal with me in court. How do I sue a guy that is working and living in his storage unit?? It's the last thing I want to do but what other options do I have??? Pray for him and for patience for me. Mike more
