The installer who came and installed our security cameras taught us how it works. He also taught me and my husband simple troubleshooting in case some minor problem would arise. Thank you! He's such a good guy! more

Business level exhausted Me! 11/25/2010

The two years I have been dealing with these people on a personal and business level has almost exhausted me. The different departments do not appear to communicate, so everything must be repeated over and over again. I gave notice on my contract within the first year, but I am stuck for several more yet. They reach a level that takes your breath away. more

Woke me up 11/22/2010

ADT alarms saved my daughter when she tried to cook. Luckily, the alarm made a sound and woke me up. Thank you ADT! I recommend ADT to each and everyone of you out there. Great system! more

The monthly rate agreed upon in the contract NEVER stays the 11/4/2010

My Husband & I signed with ADT in September of 2001 to have our home alarm system equipment installed & agreed to a 3 year monitoring contract, 5 years later we turned off our alarm service with ADT. In 2008 due to an increase in crime in our area I called ADT to begin monitoring again, we already had our ADT equipment in our home. The representive came to the house & the papers were signed- so again I was locked into a 3 year contract just because I wanted to restart servies- NO SYSTEM HAD TO BE INSTALLED AT THAT TIME. 2009 we sold our home & begin building a new home- I did not have ADT service at my home for 1 year & a half-due to building, but had to contine paying ADT when they were not even providing service because they were going to charge me with an very high cancelation fee. They CLAIM you can transfer you contract anywhere in the US- but beware because when you transfer- keep in mind they will not let you out of the existing contract, SO THEY CLAIM, & if you try to tranfer they expect you to sign another 3 year contract, just because you moved. They WILL NOT let you transfer only what's left of your exsisting contract. Also they will raise your monthly rate to whatever they desire. The monthly rate agreed upon in the contract NEVER stays the same- they increase it 2-3 times a year. I just want to pass this on to anyone needing an alarm system. more
