I recently graduated from the ACAS Academy of cosmetic arts and sciences and was enrolled in there permanent make up course. The course was 7 days and learned all about the art and industry for permanent makeup, tattoo removal, and lash extensions. The instructors Ms. Doreen and Ms. Kelly were very professional and educated teaching you step by step how to tattoo eyebrows,eyeliner, lips, and areolas. The beauty industry is very big as we all know and permanent makeup is only growing more and more opening up more jobs for us graduates. My favorite part of the class was the one on one time tattooing real models lips, eyeliner, and brows. Ms. Doreen and Ms Kelly also provide you with photos from the course of you tattooing models which I loved. This course was worth the money and time I spent to learn permanent make up. Thank you so much Ms. Doreen and Kelly for being such incredible instructors making this journey fun and exciting. more

I recently took some classes at ACAS Academy of Cosmetic Arts and Science in Boca Raton FL and learned more in 7 days than I did in 4 years of college. Ms Doreen and Ms Katrina are so accommodating and really know what they are talking about. I first heard about Ms Katrina's school from a former student and was instantly hooked. I did some research on other schools in the area but ACAS is the place to go if you want the best education for your money. When i went to the school to check it out Ms Katrina took me on a tour and I even got to meet with one of the instructors Ms Doreen. The School was clean, organized, and had a great vibe. I knew at that point this was the school for me. The first class I took was the eyelash extension, it was so cool and I received all of the equipment I needed to go home and start working on clients. The next class was a five day Permanent Makeup course taught by Ms Doreen who was the nicest teacher I have ever had. She was so knowledgeable of the course and answered every question I had. Even to this day I know I can call her with any questions or concerns and she returns my call within 30 min. I don't know any other teacher that would do that for their students. Upon my graduation of ACAS Academy of Cosmetic Arts and Science I left with a whole kit filled with everything I needed to go into a salon and start on my clients. The last class I took at ACAS Academy of Cosmetic Arts and Science was the Tattoo Removal course. I was really nervous about this part but Ms Doreen was very positive in my abilities and gave me the confidence i needed to continue in my schooling. I am confident in my abilities and the skills I have obtained at this amazing school. Thank you so much Ms Katrina and Ms Doreen I don't know where I would be if I hadn't come to your school. I recommend this school to anyone in the Beauty industry who wants to go far, be successful and build a great clientele. more

I recently graduated the masters program in May at ACAS Academy of Cosmetic Arts and Sciences for Permanent makeup training and professional makeup artistry training. From my initial interview I knew this school was different. I liked the fact they are a specialty school offing services that are unique and hard to find elsewhere. Within the Masters Program there are 6 courses over 12 days. Eye lash extensions, permanent makeup, paramedical micropigmentation, tattoo removal, professional makeup artistry, and multimedia makeup airbrush. It was an amazing experience although I was tired it was well worth the time. I was able to participate in an on location photo shoot with fashion models photographers videographers. it was soooo much fun. I learned 4 different looks and now have a commercial and portfolio with the whole event. Ms Katrina places alot of time helping you from the time you make contact with this school throughout the programs and after graduation. Ms Doreen was our Permanent Makeup Instructor and Paramedical micropigmentation . I completed 12 procedures by the end of class's Doreen is so patient and kind . I was so nervous in the beginning and she nurtured us through until the end . I was so sad to leave some of us were crying :). ACAS Academy is so different please at least take the time to interview over the phone. You will understand right from the start what sets them apart. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK GUYS more

I took the lash extensions, permanent makeup, paramedical, and tattoo removal and I promise you IT IS NOT WORTH THE YEAR WORTH OF HOUSE PAYMENTS THEY CHARGE YOU FOR THAT WEEK! First off getting Ms. Katrina on the phone to discuss anything is like pulling teeth. 95% of the conversations you have with her will be via text! EVERYTHING comes at a cost to her and EVERYTHING is about money! Now the lash extension class isn’t too bad. The stuff they give you in the kit is cheap. Almost every one of our fans broke straight out of the package. I think we all had to share one girls fan in the end! Then you’ll go home and find out you can’t even do it because you need to be a certified esthetician. So find that out before that money is wasted because they will not tell you anything that will keep you from giving them that money! They have very loose morals! The permanent makeup class is ok too… but you have to constantly ask for what was promised to you, then she makes you feel as though you’re a bother to her. After a class one of the girls husbands overheard Katrina complaining that “all these girls are bugging her trying to get free stuff.” (She tried to not give us the pigments which were promised in the kit, which she finally gave us 3, but her website now claims you get 5 pigments! One girl bought the digital machine for $3000.00 and had to go back and ask for the 21 pigments that was supposed to be included. She also failed to give/mention the $250 reimbursement in travel costs to several of the girls.) The paramedical class… They read their booklet that is given to you in the class and after reading all the don’t do’s in the scar camouflage, we asked, “so then what CAN we do?” Ms. Doreen said “just don’t do camouflage.” And that was it. They don’t have the appropriate time to actually “teach” everything that class says you will learn, so they just tell you not to do it! Nice, I paid almost $2000.00 for one day and in the long run was told just not to do it and we did not have any time to ask questions since the day was so rushed! The tattoo removal, buy a half a kit if you want to try it. I’m still not completely convinced it works, but the teacher does have before and after photos. Don’t buy their products. The pigments they offer are another companies pigment which they just re-bottle and put their label on so you really have no clue what you’re buying. Otherwise, why wouldn’t they sell it online and let you in on who manufactures it. Ms. Katrina AND Ms. Doreen are shysters and I would recommend spending less money with someone else, and learning from someone who isn’t doing it JUST for the almighty dollar in the end! Everything they sell to you is not to benefit you, it’s so that they make the money off you! Don’t feel rushed to buy the digital from them, they will push it on you, but you get just as good of a deal through the actual company! What they charge is not worth what you get at all! OVER PRICED! more
