still filthy. 1/29/2009

here's another place that contributed to my day going bad, so early. i came in a little after 1 gentlemen who were standing by the door. from the looks of them, they're agitated and fidgety. clearly, they've been standing there for a while and clearly being ignored by the servers. i thought this is going to be great, i could feel it. after over 20 minutes of standing and still being ignored, a table opened-up and the gentlemen seated themselves. fed up of the wait, and not caring even though the table hasn't been bussed yet. and so i wait. another 2 minutes or so, another table opens-up. i seated myself and copied the other gentlemen. they're Chinese and should know the protocol on how to get service at this restaurant, so as disgusting my table's state was, i just sat there. another 20 minutes pass, everyone else has been served at the restaurant by now. the gentlemen has coffee by now, there are 8 more tables that have opened-up AND bussed. mine is still filthy. i'm trying to catch the server's eye by this time. no such luck. i gave up and walked out the door. starving, and vowing to never go here again. more

Decent Hong Kong style food 12/11/2008

They provide some decent Hong Kong style foods. Price is reasonable. The taste is very original, 100% Hong Kong style. Pros: good foods, open late Cons: the place is a little bit old more

It's an Okay for a tight budget restuarant. 7/19/2007

This place isn't all that great because a lot of my food wasn't that great when I order it. I mostly like their Bake Pork Chop with Spaghetti. There are some few items are okay such as their Chow Fun, and Fried Rice. The seating was okay, the service is a little slow. more

Cheap is all 9/30/2006

On a typical weekend, you can find the place filled w/Chinese-Am folks here for a quick and inexpensive meal. But that's about it. Saturday brunch for $4.00 comes w/coffee/tea and pork/egg jook with a small plate of chow mein with onions. That's about it, all carbs. The jook was salty and the chow mein was unflavorful. You can also get eggs, 2 hot dogs (they call sausage) & a wedge of hash brown (frozen patty type like the ones they serve at Burger King or Arby's) for the same price. Other folks order the soupy macaroni topped w/slivers of ham. The food isn't that good, it's just cheap. Their baked goods are ok, lots of buns to chose from, probably what's worth stopping in for, not the meals. Pros: Inexpensive if on a strict budget, quick service, bakery better than restaurant Cons: poor ambience, food not great tasting for restaurant food, crowded weekends more

absolutely detest this place 6/16/2002

This place serves Hong Kong style cuisine, like curry ox tail over spaghetti and things of that sort. The food tastes bland and lifeless, at least to me. When I go to a restaurant, I expect a little thing called service.. I do not think they understand this concept. One time I had a steak dinner meal and apparently they ran out of rolls. When asked about it, they played it off as they didn't care and still charged full price for an incomplete meal. They don't accept credit cards. For a while, they used folding chairs for furniture. Nasty horrible place.. ick! more
