The price was competitive and the service was excellent. The crew was polite, hard-working and very professional. There was an issue with scheduling - we had scheduled the work on a particular date, but it slid several days which was a potential problem for us. In the end, the crew worked on their normal day off to accommodate our needs which we really did appreciate. more

Not a good company to deal with. They tried to tell me three other trees in addition to the one that was obviously dead needed to come down. I later had an arborist come and look at thos three trees and they were just fine. I asked if there would be a group discount if I convinced my neighbor to hire them and they said sure, they would take it off my bill and add it to the neighbors. They tried to tell me not to let me dog and son in the backyard until these trees were all taken down because they could fall on them and kill them. Horrible scare tactics. I would not trust them. Quote was way high and the people giving me the quote came across as unethical in their practices. more

Good service can't be beat. One phone call, show up right away and have the crew here to get the work done quickly, netly and priced right. Unusual nowadays! Will be using them again in the spring and recommend A1 to anyone I can. Way to go. more

During the recent crazy wind rain storm of 7/24, we had a Bradford Pear 1/2 go down. Blocking neighbors front entrance. On recommendation of our neighbors we called A+Tree and Crane. I was totally fascinated and pleased with the crew. We had the entire tree taken down cause it would have only been a problem down the road. Quick, totally cleaned up and I felt reasonable for the quick service they provided for us. Thanks guys. more

A+ deserves its name. Within an hour of reporting a large downed hickory tree, their estimator was out looking at the tree and gave a quite reasonable estimate. The next business day the crew was out there, cleaned everything up, took care with the plants and property and, given the heavy equipment they used, left the property in pristine condition. I highly recommend them. Excellent work. more

When I first called them, I had a tree that had fallen on my house. They showed up right away and took the huge tree off that same day- with the crane. They only take a few hours to remove multiple trees. I was very pleased with their work and would definitely recommend them. more

Professional and Efficient! 11/8/2011

A Plus Tree & Crane is definitely ""A+"". I got an estimate the same day I called & they came the next day to perform the work. I had 3 trees trimmed; an oak, a pecan, and a mulberry tree. Living in Raleigh, NC, I was particulary concerned with the oak tree, since Raleigh is The City of Oaks. A Plus did an excellent job. They did not damage my yard or my shrubs. They removed ALL debris and completed everything in 1 hour. All the crew were extremely nice and professional. I highly recommend them. more

Excellent 10/3/2011

Can't say enough about how pleased we were with the crew that removed 2 huge trees from our backyard. A crane had to be used and the operator was very professional. And, the bonus....we had a figure in our minds on how much this would cost but they came in far under our figure which even included stump grinding. Since the major tree was very close to the house and over 50 yrs old, needless to say this is a load off our minds in light of all the recent tree damage this city has experienced. This is a 5 star company for sure. more

Professional, On-Time and Superb Workmanship 9/15/2011

If you want it done right, professionally, on time and on budget give these folks a try. My job was done to perfection and my yard was as ""neat as a pin"" when they left. The entire process, from quote to completion was less than 24 hours and entailed major pruning and tree extractions. What more could you ask for! more

Professional, Accurate, Safe... I Highly Recommend APT&CS! 9/2/2011

The crew was vary professional and well tuned to the task at hand. I called first thing in the morning to see when A Plus Tree & Crane Services could remove a tree in my backyard and Kenneth said he had a crew w/crane in the area and could take it down today. I left work to be there when they started, a 45 minute ride. When I arrived they had the crane anchored, boom up and ready and, an army of trucks and equipment ready to take care of business. I was truly amazed at the swiftness at which they worked. If you have tree in a difficult location or any tree for that matter, do not hesitate to contact A Plus Tree & Crane Service. Nothing but accolades for A+! 4/27/2011

A+ recently removed a triple tree from my home dropped by one of the 4/16/11 tornadoes. They showed up with an army of experts and equipment, including a crane. Of course something like this you have to watch and I was very impressed by the way they moved through the job, being careful to ensure no further damage was done. There was no rush to 'get the money and get out'. They moved the pieces of the tree onto the driveway with the utmost care. They limbed the pieces sending the limbs through the chipper. They sectioned the remaining for firewood (I asked them to leave it). They uprighted and ground the stump (in addition to another stump they did for 'free'). And THEY CLEANED EVERYTHING UP! If you need a tree service, A+ will take care of you. They took real good care of me! more

A+ in all respects 2/22/2011

A+ Tree & Crane service was exactly that! A+ in taking the time to explain what they would be doing, why it should be done and providing options where applicable. They were prompt, respectful of my and my neighbor?s property, and left my yard cleaner than they had found it. Best of all was the competitive price! The quote was exactly what I paid and I was amazed at the amount of skill and work I received for that amount. Tree Trim and Removal 4/13/2010

Outstanding job. Gave a competitive quote to fell 3 trees, did the work as requested, and willingly stayed to trim additional trees in the back garden. Cleaned up very well, and were able to fell a tree for a neighbor. Very professional Will definitely use them again. more

Great Work and Professional 12/11/2009

I have used A+ Tree and Crane Services for several years. First job was removing a huge tree near my house and grinding the stump. They did such a great job taking that huge tree down that several of my neighbors had them remove their trees and do other jobs. Second job, they removed a lot of pine trees, added dirt and graded so I could better use my backyard and did concrete work to extend my driveway. I have also used them for landscaping. The guys were very professional and did a great job of cleaning up after each job. I will continue to use this company and recommend them to friends for future projects. The estimate was a very good price for the work I was getting done. This is my third time getting tree work done on my property and each time I say to myself ""I'm never using that service again!"" I called A+ Tree and Crane and got an estimate. They came out on time, gave me the estimate and did exactly what they said they would do on the estimate. They cleaned up everything...all of the crew was extremely professional and proficient. I will always call on A+ Tree & Crane Service for tree and landscaping work.
