Amazing Abbot 8/20/2005

A huge bonus to Abbott Paint and Carpet is the staff. They know their stuff, and there are plenty of people to answer questions. The disadvantage to the abundance of staff is that sometimes it can feel a bit over-solicitous. I go there for their selection of Benjamin Moore paints, which they often run on special. If possible wait for them to run a special, as the paint is not inexpensive. more

Abbot’s Paint is likely the best store from which to buy paint. It is their specialty and they know what they are talking about. Check out their paint selection. You will find brands that the big warehouse stores do not carry. Plus a lot of expertise that they do not have. more

Great local place for paint & supplies 8/18/2005

Abbott's is a very nice store to browse for new ideas for your home. They have an extensive selection of paints and carpet and their staff is very knowledgeable. I like the fact that they are so helpful when you come in and they keep track of what paint you've bought previously in case you need some for a touch up or you want to get another color that will coordinate with it. Their personal service and commitment to customer satisfaction is incredible. They also offer wallpaper and other items to update your home. more
