Based on another review of 9'ers Grill here on JB, my husband and I decided to give it a go and we weren't disappointed. We were incredibly surprised with the size of the burgers, the excellent flavor, and the price. Our two combo meals (massive 1/2+ lb burger, fries, and fountain drink) came to $13.98. This is just a few dollars more than what we spend at McDonald's for a meal that's not nearly as good (or as filling) as what 9'ers serves up fresh. We were so happy that we went back about a week later (just a few days ago), and again we had a very nice experience. We went during the dinner rush so it was a bit slower than our first visit, but well worth the wait - maybe 15 minutes. On the second visit I had a Chicken sandwich with provolone cheese, bacon, and honey mustard, which was excellent - it was so nice to have a real grilled chicken breast on a toasted bun. My husband had the Philly Cheese Steak which he said was also very good. Again, the price with fries and drinks came to $13.98. Next time we look forward to trying the delivery service! 9'ers is our new fast food alternative. Too bad we're moving to Richmond in a couple of months!! We will miss 9'ers a lot. more

We often forget about 9ers as it is somewhat hidden (so out of sight, out of mind). They are located just off Grand Parkway and Highland Knolls in the shopping center with Ruthie's Mexican Restaurant. Their menu items are comparable to other places in the area such as Skeeter's, but it won't be nearly as crowded. The burgers are very large, and the combo meals are very affordable (about $5 for a burger, fries, and drink), so it's a great value for your money. They have a number of burgers to choose from ranging from a standard cheeseburger to favorites such as bacon-cheese and mushroom-swiss. Burgers are cooked to order, but turn around time is relatively quick (usually under 10 minutes) depending on how busy they are. They have self serve fountain drinks. 9ers offers a family friendly atmosphere. They have booths and tables as well as video games for the kids. You clear your own table when you are finished, but they are very quick to have someone come out and wipe down tables as people leave so that there are plenty of tables as people come in. They often have buy one, get one free coupons in the Entertainment books. If you are in the mood for a burger and want to try a new place, you won't be disappointed in 9ers. more

Honestly! If a hamburger is what you are after, this is where you need to go. The first time we went and had their burgers, we went back three times that weekend. They are good. Since then we have ventured away from the hamburger and have been disappointed. Stick with the burger and fries and you will be pleased. more
