713 Restaurant & Lounge

We were seated promptly by the bar, but try having some drinks with friends with the city's most abnoxious bartenders yelling in between your conversations to people behind you. It just got annoying after a while. The bartenders seemed nice, but were trying too hard or something. I would recommend if you go, just do not sit by the bar unless you like getting interrupted every 5 minutes or so! Pros: cheap, cool atmosphere Cons: rude bartenders more

My wife and I are regulars here and we've NEVER been disappointed. I've ordered sushi on several occasions and never had any complaints. The venison carpaccio, while a little pricey for the portion, is awesome! The lounge side is just as enjoyable. The customer service can't get any better. The bartenders get to know you and call you by your name and they remember you when you go back. They make you feel very welcomed there. I have met 3 of the DJs and all of them are more than willing to socialize with the customers. Retro Thursdays, Fridays are house and Saturdays are progressive house and trance. I have referred a lot of people to this place and no one has been disappointed. This is a great place to kick back and enjoy. Pros: Music, Food , Service Cons: Could stay open later more

We dined on a Thursday night and were one of only three tables seated. The waiter was less than attentive. We ordered many different sushi and rolls, all of which were mediocre at best. The fish was not of the highest quality. We tried a number of appetizers. The mussels had a rubbery texture and the chicken skewers were undercooked (aka raw in the center). The wine was over-priced, though their selection could please any palate. The restaurant clearly strived to be chic, but failed. The music that night was provided by a subscription music service (satellite or cable radio) and was loud - obtrusively loud. The lighting and decor is tacky. Quite frankly, this is basically a strip-mall sushi bar/restaurant. Not only will I not go back, but I will be apologizing to the couple that joined us on my suggestion for a long long time. Great service but I won't return. They accused a friend of mine on the waitstaff of stealing when a customer stiffed him of the bill. more

Although I have only been there once and only had a few drinks by the bar, I have been dying to go back.. Service was awesome and the ambience was just as great! The Apple Martini (one of my all time favorites) was exquisite! I highly recommend this place! more

I am avid sushi fan (3+ times a week) and was excited to see 713 opening very near to my apartment. We went to 713 with my girlfriend a few months after their official opening. Immediately upon entry, I was discouraged by the overall ambience, which tries to be trendy but fails. Still, as long as the sushi is good, I really don't care. We ordered drinks, appetizers and three different sushi combos. Our drinks never arrived despite the fact that we repeatedly reminded our waitress. The appetizer arrived after the first two sushi combos and the sushi combos themselves were below average quality. Specifically, their caterpillar roll was amongst the worst I had. Once we finally asked for the check, our waitress apologized for the drinks and offered us a dessert on the house but it was too late. 713 is a real good idea implemented real bad. more

I have been going to this place since they opened. The lounge is a great place to chill out with friends...I would suggest reserving one of the booths! The chef has some wonderful fusion dishes, and the sushi was so fresh. Once you experience this place, you'll be hooked too! more

The food at 713 is wonderful, a taste of something for everybody. They have filets to sushi. If you can't finds something on the menu for you, then you must be crazy. The real selling point is the atmosphere, a New Yorkish feel, without the attitude. The lounge is so cool. Relaxing and fun, probally the best in town. The staff makes the place. A must go place.
