This place is one of a kind. You know you're at the right place when you walk in and find the walls plastered with dollar bills. This friendly place has great food until the late hours. It is definitely a hot spot on latenight weekends. I definitely stop by every time I get back to the city from a long trip. Leave a mark by posting up one of your own dollar bills on the wall. more

69 Chinese Restaurant on 69 Bayard St. has such good home-cooked food that they don't even need a name. And apparently their food attracts the crowds because I've definitely had to wait outside for a table before. In the AM hours, they are one of few restaurants in Chinatown that aren't closed. I swear these people don't sleep; this restaurant is like a hungry, drunk person's best friend. I've never been crazy about their food, but I think over the years it has grown on me. Their dishes taste very homemade; try the beef stew or the chicken over corn. Ooh, and don't forget the chicken wings--they're good. Also, they condone defacing government property; you can write messages, shoutouts, names, whatever, on a dollar bill and they will post it up on their wall. more
