It was my sisters turn to chose the restaurant for our Friday night fish fry "date". This last Friday she chose 68th Street Bar and Grill. She had heard that they had an excellent fish fry even though they are just a little hole in the wall place. We called ahead for a reservation of 9, at which point they failed to mention that there was NO WAY we would all be able to sit together. Their whole dining room has only 6 - 8 tables most of them for two people. So we were disappointed right away that we would not all get to sit together, but we decided to suck it up and give it a try. The food was served in a timely manner howeve the fish was greasy and my breaded shrimp still had the shells on them under the breading. The waitress ignored us and I was appalled to see that she was drinking a beer while on the job. Overall the plave is a dump and the food was no better. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to dinner here, but maybe my brother-in-law!
