I just paid $15 for a sandwich with hardly anything meat and fries. I can't believe this. Very disappointed to say the least. Pros: nice space Cons: food

This place has the best venison burger I have ever tried. Must try it at least once. It doesn't taste like game at all. more

wonderful food 4/2/2006

This is a great spot for dinner or for lunch. I particularly love their salads. The atmosphere is very relaxed. In fact, at lunch you seat yourself but at dinner they do have a hostess. There are constantly lunch or dinner specials so it is great food at a great price which is one reason it is so popular with the UT crowd. more

Best Austin lunch spot! 9/24/2005

I love this place! The food is excellent, the prices are fair, and there's not a long wait (you order at the counter and seat your self). Everything I've ever ordered has been excellent, and the salads and sandwiches are especially good. I think the atmosphere is great here. It's perfect for a lunch with friends, a business lunch, or even a lunch with the kids in tow. It can get crowded for lunch on weekdays, but things still move pretty fast, and is well worth it. more

yum, yum! the 34th st cafe, located close to campus right off of lamar, is a delicious spot for lunch or dinner. local celebrities dine here all the time, so you know it must be good. they have all types of food on their menu, and lots of specials, so the price is right. at lunch, you seat yourself, but at dinner they have a wait service. but the cafe is not in the least stuffy, and i love their decor and cacti in the windows. more
