$1.75 cleaner

Leaves clothes with a chemical smell that lingers for days. My sweaters were stretched out of shape and items do not feel clean. On top of that, they had told me that my clothes would be ready the next day by 4. I went at 4:30 the next day and they were not ready. They asked me to come back in an hour. I did, and they were still not ready. I had to return the next day. I received no apology. more

As a stay at home mom with some dry clean clothes and not a whole lot of places to where them, I'm mainly looking for a quick clean or refresh. If I wanted to dry clean my favorite silk blouse, this would definitely not be the place I would take it. I took a pleated skirt here and expected them to charge me extra for pressing - nope, but no pressed pleats either. But it's probably cheaper to get it cleaned here and pressed at a full price cleaner. Would I trust my wedding dress here? Obviously not! But they did a decent job on my sweaters and I think they'd do a decent job on men's dress shirts. If you're not that picky or attached to a particular garment, this can be your cleaner. I've never had anything bad happen, but I have gotten the "we've done all we can" tag that you might also get at full price cleaner. more
