Review content:
I would like to discourage everyone from having their animal tested/treated for allergies by Dr. Duclos. Our dog was traumatized by the skin test and then prescribed a serum which did not work..the allergist used steriods to control the itching for two years. We took our dog to a vet. who recommended blood testing. He stated how bad continual use of steriods is for animals, and had us discontinue all meds. We then started her on the serum made for her from the blood testing results. It has now been just over a month and we have already seen a dramatic difference. Dr. Declos stated that I wanted a "magic medication to fix the problem." He goes on to state "that vets who run this blood allergy test really do not know what they are doing regarding allergies. The serum tests are completely invalid," Ironically, I ran into someone who had had almost the exact same experience with Dr. Duclos...their dog is now itch free as well and doing great on the serum prescribed after the blood test performed by "a vet...a non-specialist."
