Review content:
I broke a spoke and decided to try Montlake Bikes for a change, to support my local shop. I'll never go back. After a 10 min wait (with plenty of salespeople hanging around), the guy tried to sell me a new wheel, then finally got the spoke for me. I eyeballed the spoke length on my way out the door, and thought they were a bit long, so I went back in and asked the guy if he didn't think the spoke was a tad long. He refused to recheck the length, and made a few more derogatory comments about me not buying a whole new wheel. I left angry, got home, and installed the spoke. Sure enough, too long. I won't be back: not worth the 75 cents for sloppy service and antagonism. Made me mad enough to write my first ever negative review.
