My husband has bought me several very nice pieces of jewelry from Kranichs and I would recommend the store to anyone who is interested in a unique selection of high quality jewelry. Their prices are higher than average, but so is the quality.
Being an independent jeweler, you will find a much better and higher quality selection of jewelry at Kranichs than at any chain jewelry store.
They have a nicest selection of diamonds in Altoona, but prices are higher than can be found in major cities.
They also carry a small, but good quality, selection of estate jewelry and Rolex and other fine watches.
Like most independent jewelry stores the price on the item is rarely, if ever, their best price, so feel free to bargain with them or wait for a sale.
