Unkel Joe's Woodshed is a wonderfully unique store. Inside they have many gift and household items. They have a large array of cookie cutters in many different shapes and sizes. They also have mayne fun shaped cookie jars to put your cookies in. In winter their back room gets full of christmas decorations and in the summer full of lawn and garden decorations. This is a really great store to browse around and you can almost always find something perfect for someone on your gift list.

The buffet area is clean and well tended to. The buffet area is always kept in stock, there is no waiting for new food to be prepared, empty buffet areas are promptly refilled. A great place to take the family for lunch or dinner.

I have been going to Razors Edge for many years. I live an hour away and believe me there is a reason I travel there.....great service, knowledge and perfection. Everyone of the stylist are wonderful and truthful about what will work and what will not work. Believe me, I am extremely picky about my hair and would not trust just anyone to put their hands on it!! Thanks!!

Finelli's Italian is fine dining at it's best! It reminds me of the great Italian restaurants of Little Italy in NYC or the real thing in Rome or Venice. The atmosphere is comfortable and warm with the Finelli family interacting with the customers like everyone is a long lost family member being welcomed home.
The "Villa" has gotten the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence and is listed in the DiRona guide to fine dining. Great achievements for any restaurant and rare in central Pennsylvania! The staff is professional and helpful. Finelli's hosts several special events each year such as wine tastings, New Year's Eve and Mardi Gras celebrations.
Be aware, this is not the Olive Garden or TGIFridays! This is a dining experience that is best enjoyed over a few hours at a leisurely pace. Only take a date here if you are looking to impress!

The printing looked great and it was ready when we needed it. I would highly recommend Wick Copy to anyone needing professional printing.. The Colosseum is a great place to not only get a stylish haircut, but also to pamper yourself . The Salon/Spa offers many different services, from waxing and massages to facials and pedicures. I was lucky enough to be given a Hot Stone Massage as a gift after
the birth of my first child and was in heaven! The massage room was calming and peaceful, and the massage therapist did an excellent job. The hours are accommodating and the staff is friendly. There are many different pampering packages that make wonderful gifts; I've given a 3 hour session as a gift several times and it is always greatly appreciated. For anyone who is feeling a little stressed out, this is a great place to go for a little TLC.

Lakemont Park in Altoona, PA is the best family amusement park we have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Even on regular days, the cost is very reasonable. However, there are many days that are greatly discounted, allowing the entire family to go for very little money.
There are tons of rides for preschoolers. The older kids can enjoy the larger rides. The little ones enjoyed feeding ducks and playing in the sand, things you don't typically find at an amusement park. Lines are almost nil.
The prices for concessions were very reasonable, but guests are permitted to bring coolers and picnic in the park, making it that much more affordable as a family activity.
To top it all off, Lakemont is home of the oldest roller coaster in the world.
For a perfect day with the family, this is the place to be.

Mallo cups are an amazing, unique candy you can only find in certain parts of the country and this is the one place you can get them fresh. They also offer smoothies, peanut butter sups, sour chewy candies, novelty shaped chocolate pops, chocolate covered peanut butter filled pretzels, as well as, at times, some unexpected products such as a mini screwdriver kit. The small store is jam packed with wonderful deals and a pleasant staff.
