Review content:
I am shocked and appalled reading the above review by "Amy R.". Maybe I am taking it too personally being a manager, patron and family member of the owner, Charlie. At Charlie's, we take great pride in the quality and freshness of our food. Most everything is made fresh at Charlie's. I have managed Charlie's for eleven years, since it's inception, and Amy R.'s review is confusing to me and may have some inaccuracies. I could be wrong, but in eleven years I never once remember serving spanish rice and it has never been on the menu. Also, as the manager and a "female", Amy mentioned a "male" manager approached the table. I'm confused by this. The seriousness of this experience, considering the police were almost brought in, would have been brought to "my" attention and I have no recollection of this matter. One last thing, for a Grasshopper to be green would require green creme de menthe making it near impossible to "not" taste like mint. I wouldn't recommend Grasshoppers and spanish rice as a good flavor combination, but I do recommend that you try us again, I think you would enjoy your experience at Charlie's Bar & Grille. J PS. I hope your friend is well.
