http://cardinalbuilders.com/ My husband and I received a phone call one afternoon, from a company in the area, asking if we were in need of estimates for any work around our house. (Typically we're not fans of this type of advertising, and would normally say no, but both of us have definitely been thinking about new windows, for starters). Two days later, we had a meeting set up to discuss our options. Our appointment was on a Saturday, and we were set on some incredible Northstar windows ( http://www.northstarwindows.com/ ) that night. The work (our credit) was approved that Monday, we had somebody out to take exact measurements a day after that, and 2 weeks later, our windows were installed! We were given a great deal on this product. For the measurements of our windows, and for the quality of the Northstar windows (which from their website you can see are quite impressive), not to mention including installation, I think we lucked out. The installers were courteous, and professional. The only negative I can think of was that we were told the installers would be here "around 9:30 am, closer to 9 am", and they did not arrive til just before 10 am. But they completed 7 windows (including having them capped and sealed) within about 3 hours' time. I don't know much about window installation, but I think that's pretty good. We are probably going to have them come back to install a huge window in our front room (when we decide which style we like and can best afford), and then we are thinking of using them to redo our roof and siding, as we had a killer hail storm come through here a couple of months back. This company has been around for decades, so I don't think they're the type to promise work, take money, and skip town. They're licensed, and insured, and local!!
