This is a review of the starbucks that is housed in B&N. I was shocked at the lack of customer service from the employees who worked at the Starbucks counter at B&N. It was a special day for our school district as it was one of thoes support your school fundraiser, so there were many kids. My daughter wanted a muffin so we sashayed with out books in hand to the SB cafe and I asked if for a milk, a pepermint mocha, and a blueberry muffin. She said in that snide teanage way, "ah no. we don't have any". Usually when you go into a starbucks and they don't have what you want, the barista will usually say, "we don't have any, but would you like our blueberry coffee cake". The barista was very short and rude. When I ordered the items and paid, they called me 3 times:" Chocolate chip cookie", "Tall milk", then finally, "pepermint mocha". Could they not have given the cookie to me at checkout like usual? Could they not have given me the milk and pepermint mocha at the same time, oh well. I guess that is what happens when you have 5 employees working at once. If that was bad, when we sat down to read our books (rememer now this is a buisness, and they sell books) the group of 5 started to have very loud, I mean many people in the cafe were looking. My daughter said to me, "its too loud in here, I cannot read". They were cackling and being loud like a bunch of teenagers at lunch time and all 5 of them were in plain view of all of the shoppers. Very bad customer service!
