While looking for preschools for my son, I heard great things about Children's School from a co-worker of mine whose kids went there. I heard that getting in might be difficult (at the time, the registration was on a Saturday morning and people camped out to get a spot - I believe this has changed). Though I thought camping out at 4 am on a Saturday was insane, I'm glad I did it. Nancy Martin, the school's director, is such a warm and friendly woman who deeply cares about the students and makes everyone feel special. Her staff is great and it's a co-op, which keeps the price down and helps with the transition from toddlerhood to preschooler. It also keeps the adult/student ratio down and engenders great community. There is also a nursery for your younger/older kids who don't have school so you don't have to miss out! I can't wait until September when my daughter becomes a preschooler here!
