Review content:
Our friends took us out to STK to celebrate our wedding. We had a party of 14 and a confirmed reservation for 9:30 on a Friday night. We were finally seated at 10:45. The drinks in the interim were extremely weak; I thought the bartender had misheard my order and given me just soda without the vodka, and was snooty about replacing it. The bread for the table gave me high hopes- it was outstanding. It was followed by a salad that was drenched in generic dressing and cheap-tasting cheese. My steak was laughably small (the filet medallion) and had no flavor. The texture was too chewy and very difficult to cut. For desert we had chocolate molten cake with ice cream. It was competent but nothing special. Oh, and my side of sweet corn pudding tasted like unbaked cornbread batter. The atmosphere was very lively and fun, the service was great, but the food is severely lacking.
Pros: The bread
Cons: Everything else
