Review content:
I feel like Takashimaya has way too much real estate for the small amount of merchandise that they offer. The items are almost all high-end/high price tag. I have not been able to bring myself to buy anything for my own home but have on rare occasion bought a gift for someone here (usually a small one that still broke the bank).
The biggest reason I come in here is because I love the florist on the ground floor. Skip tea at the tea room (skimpy portions) and instead buy tea at the counter next to the restaurant and make it at home (they have wonderful varieties and beautiful tea sets for sale).
