Review content:
The American Cancer Society's fundraiser thrift shop, Discovery Shop, is an "upscale resale" sort of thrift shop. High-quality items are displayed in a manner reminiscent of "new" clothing shops rather than a thrift store, especially in the amazing window displays. Other items can be found in the back of the store, from crochet work and linens to glassware and jewelry.
When you make a purchase, you can ask for a little punchcard. The clerks will stamp or punch the dollar amounts, and when the card is filled you get a $10 credit on your next visit.
The Discovery Shop is a nice way to support the ACS and find unique treasures too.
