In fact, I don't think it's been a secret for a long, long time. But still, here are some of my C21 tips.
if you don't know it, this is pretty much new york's best discount dept store - with A LOT of variety, and good stuff for the prices. some tips
- it's almost ALWAYS a zoo in there. the worst time is probably lunchtime when there are all out wars breaking out in the aisles. i can only imagine what weekends are like. evenings (after work) are better, esp if you go later, towards closing time.
- what it's good for: GREAT for wedding/housewarming gifts. look on the lower floor for this stuff - framed pictures, kitchen appliances, cutlery, cutware, etc.
- great for accessories like leather gloves, bags, belts, sunglasses, underwear
- not so great in women's clothes, i feel, except if you're looking for good deals on v. expensive european fashion (which is lovely but out of my budget)
