This school was NOT voted best anything by Citisearch. South Beach bartending school has been operating illegally, without any sort of license, and has been scamming people for years. They are rated a F with the BBB and take a look at all the negative google reviews, what a joke!. The owner Derek Fonseca was fired from Nikki Beach over 10 years ago, has one of the worst reputations on the beach and has been running his scam school ever since. Every year or so when he is forced to shut down he picks up and moves his operation and starts over. For anyone that has taken this class like me (over 2 years ago now) and is not bartending and was filled with nothing but false promises with no job placement whatsoever you can get your money back! Contact your lawyer and have them call South Beach bartending directly (305-200-2277 or Contact the Florida Department of Independent education and report what over 100 other people have(850) 245-3200 . Don't make my mistake please. I just saw this review, obviously written by someone who works for South Beach Bartending and it made my blood boil. I do not even know how this school is still operating. Dont take my word for it... DO YOUR RESEARCH PLEASE!
