Review content:
We eat lunch at Big Hopps on a regular basis. The food has always been great (their menus are available on their web site at bighopps.com) and their prices are reasonable. But service is sometimes slow depending on how big a crowd they have at the time. We also stop there from time to time after work to get a beer and relax while the downtown traffic clears out. Service in the late afternoons and evening has always been faster. We highly recommend Big Hopps, but we suggest that if you are in a hurry, especially for lunch, you call ahead and order it carry out (just about everything on their menu is also available for carry out) or get in before 11:30 AM as their eat in lunch crowd tends to explode about 12:30 PM. Other than sometimes slow service due to large crowds, everything else has been great.
Pros: Great food, fantastic soups, reasonable prices
