Businiess name:  Kauai's Family Restaurant
Review by:  Brian R.
Review content:
Have you been to Kauai Family Restaurant? Have you ever had really good Hawaiian food? I am not talking about SPAM but the good stuff, plate lunch grub: BBQ Chicken, Lau Lau, Kalua Pig, Pork Adobo, Pineapple Chicken, Poi. Hear me now? This place has been a staple for me for over 9 years now and I bring every person that is important to me here at least once. I try not to tell too many people so I can still get a seat on Saturday afternoon. Decor - very simple cafeteria style but comfortable. Staff - how can they be consistently this nice over the years, maybe it's my fat tips that I leave. they make you feel like family sometime more then your own. Pricing - very reasonable, I mean $6.75 for Pineapple Chicken, scoop of rice and scoop of mac salad. "Can't beat that with a bat." If you ever get lost driving in the SODO district you can find them on 6324 6th Avenue South in a strip plaza next to where an Arby's used to be. Don't forget to grab a Guava cake on your way out next door. I have one in my mini-refrigerator here at work ready to take home. Mmmm. Only downfall- they are closed on Sunday and Monday. Trust me I have showed up both days and no one would let me in.
