While I feel the menu is not as creative or varied as the Kitchenette in Morningside Heights, this Tribeca branch has some advantages.
It seems to be a lunch destination, so I think the best time to go is for an early dinner during the week. It's very uncrowded then and you aren't rushed or cramped. You feel like it's a treat because the place is cute enough that you expect it to be packed.
The character is precious without being pretentious. The food is simple, but not cliche. A good place to spend a quiet evening after work with a friend when Wall Street is quiet.
