I had one dog for aproximately 8 years before I took in another dog who desperately need a home. One day they had quite an altercation and the big one bit the little one on the ear. When I got home from work, I could tell the ear was quite infected. My vet was open that night but I was told that they were fully booked and the only thing I could do was bring my little guy in and leave him all night. They would look at him the next day. (He would have been miserable all night and I guess I would have had to pay for the overnight accomodations) I called Parma Animal Hospital and they told me to bring him in. I was so happy they agreed to see him and was extremely impressed with the care they gave him that I decided to change vets. Last year, my big guy had a heart problem. The vet was completely honest with me that this was bad but they did everything they could to help him. My precious big guy passed away at home in my arms.
